I was having trouble finding the “topic” field that I was supposed to fill in.
Me too. I can’t post my new diary because it keeps asking for a Topic. But there’s no Topic field. Me crabby … bad enough ANWR is going to hell.
What I mean is: IT IS NOT FIXED FOR ME! DAMMIT! I even killed my cache to see if that’d help. But nooooo…
I think I fixed my problem.
Went to preferences, chose “Front Page” as my start page.
Seems to have worked.
that whole thing was just baffling to me.
Sure hope you feel better soon. It’s hard with a little one to be sick.
I just posted one, so I would conclude that they are fixed.
…here? How come you didn’t call this Booman Pro-Consul? Why aren’t we commenters getting a cut of your advertising dollars? Why do I recognize so many monikers on this site – are you making up half these names to keep the traffic up? Who did you pay to keep running while dKos was down? What is your REAL agenda?
there are five open threads up top. E,S,MW,W and World. World is all-purpose.
And welcome to the site.
…the all-Galaxy thread, and why are you dividing instead of uniting us?
Great diary over at dKos. You write well enough yourself without employing your step-son to do your dirty work 😉
Seriously, to answer your question, I hope that the regional threads will develop into tools for local action, local issues, local campaign work, recruitment of pols etc. And maybe some people will become real-life friends.
And the world thread is there for general talk, which I will have to make more clear in the FAQ and elsewhere.
The threads clip off at 250 comments down 25%, I believe, so there is always content.
If they don’t work out I’ll do something different.
