I understand their oil is from Venezuela, one more way to stick it to Bush.
That’s what all the lefties are saying. We don’t have a CITGO within 90 miles of us, sadly. So we go to Shell, which is supposed to be a bit better than Exxon (I read somewhere, but forget where).
Here is a good comparison for reference.
Great list, thanks.
Time’s Matt Cooper is about to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee about a shield law for reporters. Staked out at his home earlier this morning, Karl Rove laughed when asked if he would quit his post at the White House. MoveOn plans an anti-Rove protest in front of the White House at 2:30 pm.

…yesterday in my wanderings around cyberspace places, I discovered that BMT launched on my 39th birthday!! Coolness!
I think some Republicans are getting tired of the Yellow Elephant campaign. There was a LTE this week, here in Dallas, about liberals calling for Republicans to sign up.
The writer said that the troops are already Republican 3 to 1, so it’s up to the liberals to join now.
Is this true? I have often heard that the officers are more conservative, but do we have any facts about the enlisted men and women?
point or are trying to create a diversion. The point of the Yellow Elephant campaign is that the chicken hawks rant and rave about how crucial the Iraq War is on the war on terror but do not have the guts to fight it. The liberals are brave and are willing to fight to protect America but knew that the Iraq War had nothing to do with the war on terror and if anything, would make it worse.
Found this thru americablog… a Knight Ridder editorial writer was going on and on about how the ‘good’ news wasn’t being reported from Iraq (and all the other right wing blah blah).
Anyway, the Iraq Bureau chief responded… the entire exchange is well worth reading, at E&P

Found this one in amNY this morning, just had to share:

an amazing diary regarding “What Democrats stand for”. I think it deserves to be front-paged. 🙂
