Help me.
I’ve been Arrested for my beliefs!
I’ve been convicted of caring about others and wanting to help fund research into cures for the 9 forms of Muscular Dystrophy.
For this I’ve been sentence to do hard time in a local Ameristar/KAKE TV MD Telethon Lockup to raise funds for “Jerry’s Kids”
I must raise at least $600 in bail or I’ll be locked up on August 17th. If you can help, please click through, if you need more info, read on…
I don’t need to describe for you the horror that awaits me if I fail to reach my bail – yes friends, I will have to wait a full hour before I am served lunch.
By then all the good deserts will likely be gone.
(hey, I learned some tips from Martha Stewart…I’m wearing good socks to protect from ankle bracelet chafing too…)
What’s that – you say you’ve clicked through to my bail page and you’re thinking I don’t need desert?
Well – I can’t argue with you there – but then do it for the kid’s!
I’m asking my Booman Trib friends to make a donation through my online page to help me raise bail.
Those of you who don’t like me can feel free to donate too – it’s for the kids.
(not sure about online – but I recall in past years you could specifiy a donation to increase my sentence, you might look for that option…)
Please give whatever you are comfortable giving – every amount will be appreciated. I’m hoping to come up with about 30 people who give $20 each to raise my goal of $600 (or 60 of $10 each or whatever) – but again – I’ll appreciate whatever amount you can spare.
