   My name is Holly Williams.  When my husband, KFBK Sacramento, CA radio talk show host, Mark Williams, and I, traveled to Iraq with a group of other talk show hosts and documentarians for a week in July 2005, we got to see first-hand the country and the people.

   I had asked many soldiers with whom I spoke what they needed from the States. Time after time I was told that they were taken care of very well by the military,  but the children were suffering.  That was all I needed to hear to realize that I wanted to help the children of Iraq.  And CASEY’S KIDS-TO-KIDS was created to do just that.

   Now, who could be against children?  I mean, why let pesky facts about US invasions, horribly mismanaged operations and $ Billions stolen from what appropriations that have actually been used get in the way of a NON-PROFIT “charity” helping the children of Iraq?

   Oh, and curious about the name Casey?

   Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Casey, was a discarded, sick, homeless and frightened soul that we rescued from a horrible pound in Sacramento, CA in the spring of 2001.  In looking for a standard bearer for a charity to help Iraqi children I decided what better way to reach out and help children in need than with a little dog who adores children and who herself knows what it feels like to be alone, hungry, cold and sick.  I felt that she would be the perfect symbol for this effort, and thus CASEY’S KIDS TO KIDS  was established.

   Well, I can’t exactly demand a birth certificate to check out the dog’s name — but I bet if you yell “Casey” it looks left and right wondering who you are calling.  But, that’s just me — after all, I live in that reality-based community, what do I know?  Maybe it has NOTHING to do with our REAL Northern Californian hero, Ms. Cindy Sheehan’s son, Casey.

   And so on behalf of myself, Deborah Johns, co-founder of Northern California Marine Moms and Siobhan Guiney, of Voices of Soldiers 2005, please help us and Casey help the children of Iraq.  Please donate whatever amount you can give to help us get these essential supplies to the children of Iraq.

   Yes, that brings it full circle.  Ms. Deborah Johns, the anti-Cindy, lends whatever credibility she has to this “charity”.

     I wanted to do some more research on this link to Lt C, or a possible connection to fund SBVT, never found time to date.

   I find this very distasteful.  Why cant ppl just get along.  But you know, I feel pity for ppl such as this.  Yes, they are to be pitied.  Such a sorry bunch of sad, forlorned and bitter group of ppl.

     Oh and by the way, why didnt the group find the time for caseys money to help the troops find their flak jackets and things that the troops need first..they are our first concern, aren’t they?  Seems like they really do not support the troops after all, now do they?

   Yeah well, they hit here in San Diego today and made the news. The two sides got into it. They are driving a buget rental truck with hand made signs all over it and headed by one of the Stepford Wives. It was reported they are on their way to Crawford and should arrive there on Saturday. I will greet them with flowers like the Iraqis greeted our troops with flowers.

   Isn’t it just a bit ironic that these people were formed by a PR firm of republicans. What did they do, hire actors to play the so called Bush Backers because it is becoming harder and harder to find anyone that supports this illegal occupation? You know, I just love this shit. They are really scared. Rove, baby, your days are numbered. Karma babe, karma!

     Is that the one where the dittohead mother goes off on abortion and brings her kid over to show how virtuous she is?  I felt sorry for that poor girl being dragged into that crazy crusade like that.
