Katrina bears down on the “Big Easy”
As the citizens flee, very queasy.
Will there be stories told,
After the future unfolds,
Of a big spot off the I-10 that is greasy?
(four more after the fold)
Bad audio from the President’s address,
On Iraq’s constitutional progress,
Makes him sound like he’s hunkered,
In some Hitler type bunker,
While the world all around seeks redress…
Promoting intelligently designed theses,
In their fight against the origin of species,
The Religious Right at great cost
Are creating “Lands of the Lost”,
And embossing their old taurine feces…
Good news for us Java fanatics,
Whose coffee drinking is far from erratic,
Polyphenols are keen,
In the old coffee bean,
Decreasing cancer, if you’re no total addict.
Fascinating, this “Vertebroplasty”!
Alleviating spinal fractures quite nasty.
Figuratively speaking as well,
Don’t you know, sure as hell,
`Twould improve our Democratic leaders quite vastly…
Hi bood. I’d really like to know what kind of briefing bush gets on Iraq every day…his radio address as usual is some sort of pie-in-the-sky fantasy land of what he ‘thinks’ is happening there.
And when did doctors just start doing new/untried medical procedures on their own that never had any clinical trials whatsoever? We don’t need no stinkin trials I guess.
As for Adam/Eve and T-Rex..I had read that also and continue to cringe at how popular/powerful these lunatics are getting. I just don’t get how they are sucking so many people into this kind of bullshit..to say nothing of a whole new generation of kids being brought up to think this way-that’s what is really scary.
At least there was some goddam good news on the coffee front. I’m hoping my coffee addiction might cancel out my smoking addiction-yeah right but at least I don’t have to feel guilty for my coffee drinking.
