   Got home from my dream vacation in Alaska late Thursday night. Saw a few bits of news over the last couple of weeks but not til yesterday got to read the news & blogs, now like everyone else here horrified almost beyond words. Sent my daughter off to visit friend for the weekend, sitting alone tonight & came to the cafe to see/hear some friendly voices.

   Breaking on front page — Rehnquist has died.
