RAMALLAH, September 19, 2005, (WAFA)- An American delegation has Monday visited Ramallah to inspect the Palestinian situation after the Israeli withdrawal.

Head of Presidential Office, Dr. Rafiq Al-Hussein, briefed the delegation, from the American Democratic Party, on the latest development in the light of the Israeli evacuation.

He also discussed to the visiting delegation, headed by Howard Dean, the Palestinian exerted efforts and preparations for succeeding the procedure in Gaza.

Al-Husseini asserted that the such procedures are in need for international support, especially the US, for solving the debatable issues with the Israelis.

He asserted that the Palestinian National Authority in need for international help for solving the issues of the border crossings and reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
.
From his part, Mr. Dean asserted on supporting the Palestinian efforts to enable it to continue in the peace process.
