Here, and below, are photos sent to me by cell phone from JPol at the march!
Post more photos here. You’ll need to resize them so they aren’t too large. If you can’t, try one of the image services suggested in the comments section.
And don’t miss the photographs from Friday night’s shindig at the Capital City Brewery in downtown D.C., posted by MLK19569.
If you need any help, send them to me, and I can resize them in Photoshop, and upload them to the Booman server.
Anal part: The photos shouldn’t be wider than 400 pixels, and it’s important to resize the image, not force it by setting the width at 400 pixels. For one thing, the image size may be too large for our dial-up regulars … if you’ll send it to me (or whoever else volunteeers below), we can resize it, which cuts down on the file size, and we can save it in a Web-friendly format / file size.
Susan, I’ll be around most of the day (hosting today’s cafe), so if anyone wants to send photos to me for resizing, I can help.
My address is katiebird@everestkc.net
… is flickr. Very easy to set up an account and upload. Flickr automatically sizes photos into thumbnail, square, small, medium, large, and original. Each photo size gets a unique url, so it’s easy to post correct pixels. You can also send and upload photos by cameraphone. The only drawback is the capacity (calculated by % used by month) for upload with the free account, but you should be able to post a good set of photos.
That’s nice! All the size options.
We’ve used inkfrog for many years. For $4.95 a month they will store up to 700 photos. Very easy to use.
Sweet! What’s your URL?
You kids these days…
From Jerry’s cell phone:
I didn’t know that Jesus was speaking today! Way cool!
Prince of Peace: “Where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them.” Matthew 18:20
I wonder if the anti-Christ will show up. Oh…I forgot…he’s having surgery today.
The country is without leadership today.
Question is who’s listening.
Anyone there conveying the crowd size yet?
Can’t wait to start watching the C-SPAN coverage. I’ll be afk for a while when le famille comes over, but I can help out with links, news etc after that.
Good morning Catnip! Just wanted to say thanks to you for all you do for this community. Everyone has jumped in but you are always available and you and Susan have done such outstanding work. Ductape too! Thanks to all that contribute to this great community.
MSNBC did a short story about an hour ago about the march. Nothing on CNN so far and I have been listening for two hours.
I will be off in a couple of hours to our rally here, proudly wearing my Booman tshirt!
oh shucks!
Wish I could join you. Stay safe and have some fun too! hugs
Will do!
powerful pic here…
I think the fellow in the pink shirt is Jerry … he said he had a photo taken of himself for us.
Mad Cowboy Disease- i need to steal that for my next t-shirt!!!! HAHAHA
These images are blurry and a bit too light, but I’ve run them through auto-correction tools and sharpening filters — about the best I can do without spending a lot of time on it.
What’s COOL is that they’re from a marcher’s viewpoint and reflect all that Jerry is seeing!
I love Code Pink- which is why I have my BOO t-shirt over my pink flamingo shorts.
