All train service was suspended since 6 a.m., to D.C., from New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, and Baltimore because of a “electrical outage.”

Jerry Policoff called me from D.C. to say that the public address system at the demonstration announced the news three times (A.N.S.W.E.R.).

Update [2005-9-24 11:25:57 by susanhu]: The train service is reportedly working again. There were reports of spontaneous protests at Grand Central and at Philly stations, with hundreds shouting, “Bring the Troops Home!”
