   They wrote the Sale piece into their larger article on the indictments:

   Richard Sale, a former UPI intelligence reporter, wrote on a blog Wednesday that two White House officials were likely to be indicted, citing federal law enforcement and senior intelligence officials. Sale was the first to finger Pentagon analyst Larry Franklin in the Israel-AIPAC espionage case.

   3 US soldiers

   MADRID, Spain (CNN) — A Spanish judge issued an international arrest warrant Wednesday, charging three U.S. soldiers with murder in the death of a Spanish television cameraman in Baghdad.

   Jose Couso was killed as U.S. forces advanced to take control of the Iraqi capital in April 2003, a National Court spokeswoman said.

   National Court investigating magistrate Santiago Pedraz issued the warrant for the arrests of the three soldiers and their eventual extradition to Spain.

   They are wanted on charges of murder and a crime against the international community, according to the warrant.

   I am guesing this a story a lot of people missed?

     I read this but there hasn’t been anything else in the news(the print news anyway) about it as far as I know. Not that anything will come of this as we’re not cooperating unless the 3 soldiers happen to leave the country.

   Wolf Blitzer was going to report on the leak investigation on CNN and the anchor had someone telling her something in her headset, she said it was something that was happening pertaining to what Wolf was going to report about.  They cut to commercial and they are doing some story on wine when they come back on it seemed to me in order to buy some time to get organized or check on something before Wolf makes his report!

   Our healthcare offering is also vulnerable to attack. We have not effectively communicated the generosity of our healthcare benefits to the general public; instead, we have thus far allowed our critics to <<<<frame>>> the debate.

   Even Wal-mart is framing… why shouldn’t Dems.

     Improve communication of our benefits offering so we get more credit for what we provide and, over the long term, work to shape the outcomes of state and national healthcare reform efforts

     We need to be more proactive in the public arena. Three efforts are needed
     here:

     • Address the Medicaid issue head-on by <<<reframing>>> the debate (e.g., this is everyone’s problem, not just Wal-Mart’s) and by offering some type of counterproposal or compromise. This first effort is critical because Wal-Mart is under serious attack from state overnments with regard to the number of Associates on publicly funded health insurance. These attacks show no signs of abating in fact, they seem to be accelerating – and elected officials are proposing increasingly costly solutions.
     • Clarify and improve messages about our healthcare offering (building on the proposed changes outlined above) and engage in a sustained communication campaign. This kind of communication will help us <<<reframe>>> public perception of our healthcare offering, the only way for us to start winning the debate with our critics. It will also help us build the credibility needed to weigh in more broadly on U.S. healthcare issues.
     • Become more engaged in the national healthcare debate, to position Wal-Mart as a leader in healthcare in general and on access (e.g., individual mandates) and affordability (e.g., bringing IT to healthcare) in particular. Establishing Wal-Mart as a leader on this critical issue will help deflate our critics. It will also put us in a position to <<<help shape>>> the outcome of the public debate about the healthcare crisis in a way that is at least somewhat advantageous to our interests.

     Now if Wal-mart knows how to “Frame” it’s way out of being the piriah workers…. then surely with a tiny bit of effort Democrats could “frame” Democratic values instead of dumping them over board.

   The senior is most well known on the Bowdoin College campus in his role as development director for the College Democrats of America and as co-president of the Maine College Democrats. Under his leadership, the organization in Maine has grown from two chapters to 23.

   While Cornell du Houx has actively rallied against many of President Bush’s policies, he feels that his involvement in the Marines is not a conflict of interest.

   “Regardless of my opinions regarding the war in Iraq, it is my duty as a U.S. Marine to serve and I am ready and willing to do my job to its fullest extent,” he said.

   Others on campus, particularly his political opponents in the Bowdoin College Republicans, feel differently about his service. Daniel Schuberth, a leader of the Bowdoin College Republicans and College Republican national secretary, said, “I applaud Mr. Houx for his service, just as I applaud any other soldier who is brave enough to take up arms in defense of his country. I find it troubling, however, that one of the most vocal opponents of our president, our country and our mission in Iraq has chosen to fight for a cause he claims is wrong. Mr. Houx’s rhetoric against the war on terror places him in agreement with the most radical fringes of the Democratic Party, and I am left to question his logic and motivation.”
