Affecting dKos and Street Prophets…a Web site is only as strong as its weakest link…
Are they hosted on the same server or provider or something?
Street Prophets is a spinoff of dKos (I believe the header reads “a Daily Kos project” or something like that). Uses the same CSS code as dKos, but color is blue instead of orange.
Booman was loading super slow last night, er, early this A.M.
Some of us couldn’t get back in.
seems to be hanging up; not sure if that’s the culprit…

The outage is probably not a network issue (unless a firewall was misconfigured). The server is pingable
and email appears to go through (email appears to be on a different box).
I have emailed Kos. I don’t want to telephone him since it is still a little early and a bunch of phone calls from every Kos user who knows enought to obtain his phone number would be a nuisance, but it might be appropriate for someone who knows him well to call.
