I was saying all along that the best present to groups like Al-Qaeda was a Bush presidency…. because in order for extremists to gain any support among the majority is for them to have a Great Enemy to point to. And Bush makes it so EASY for them. A rational man would be a lot harder to demonize.
And the same is true in reverse… Bush needs Al-Qaeda for the same reason they need him. Frightening how that works out.
