this guy interviewed a bunch of abortion wingnuts at a demonstration they were holding.
I wish we could just employ the direct method and physically drag his (Alito’s) ass out of the hearings and chuck him down the steps. Sipler and more efficient. But this is, or was a democracy afterall so creative protest is called for I guess. As much as I think efforts like the twelve days go a long way toward educating people and letting the monkey suits know that we are paying attention, still I believe it’s bodies and feet on the streets that really make a difference and if it were up to me we’d all be banging on the doors of the hearing room, threatening to overun the goddamn place.
How do we make it so?

Well Super, if I weren’t on the west coast I would be there with you for sure. I had the idea of trying to get people to march and have a sitin on the stairs of the Capitol building during Bush’s upcoming MisStatement of the Union. No one responded.What’s it gonna take? I need some notice to take a few days off and get an airline ticket at a reasonable rate. Feel like trying to coordinate? If the Dems do stall for a week, the Alito hearings/vote and the State of the Union may be going on at the same time? Email me if you want to try for something like this
