What’s on your mind? Besides filibusters, of course.

Why didn’t I get called to participate in this study…
Wow … I always wondered what went on in those green rooms on Letterman’s and Leno’s shows.
Thanks for finding this, Man Ee. Since I’m running this year, I can see that I’ll have to make it an important and top priority in my campaign. I’m sending a copy to my treasurer (Mrs. Indianadem) right away;)
to support the cause of the SLB.

May I ask you a personal question?
Do you need a date? :):)
It’s taken me almost a year to figure it out, but I finally discovered your true identity. Feel free to use your entire arrow arsenal. :):)
You should love this story then… My ex-husband was once on a really contentious school board. He ended up resigning, but the last sentence of his resignation letter was something to the effect of maybe you should all make love before coming to these meetings, cuz it just might help you mellow out. I just hope that letter got published or is in the public sphere somewhere! 🙂
Knock me over with a feather. John Kerry is kicking ass on CSpan!
Sorry, don’t imagine much esle will be on my mind until Tuesday night. After that I’ll have time to think about other things, like slipping across the border into Canada. Or starting my own country.
I keep telling my friends, we should get BC to annex everything from Seattle to the border. But then people in Tacoma and Olympia feel left out, and Portlanders start asking why they can’t be included, and pretty soon you’ve got everyone from here to San Diego clamoring to trade in loonies and maple syrup.
I’m all for secession and joining up with Canada.
I’d work my tail off for it.
my friends in L.A. will want to be in on the deal … and they do make a lot of movies in Vancouver, so …
Can we pull it off without a civil war?
P.S. Russert Feels the Heat, Lashes Out at Arianna Huffington … schwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeet
There’s the question, eh?
I tried to get the support of some friends in Canada by telling them that as soon as we were part of the Vast North Wing Conspiracy we would help them vote Gordon Campbell out of office. Sadly, this is the hole in the plan, since no doubt Campbell would have to have sign off on any plan to annex us.
I suppose we could be our own province, but what would we call ourselves? Baja BC? The Even More Southwest Mainland? I’m sure it would be the most important thing on our plate once secession is complete.
been toying around with a story about the secession of California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho from the US and becoming the United Free States — threw in Idaho because they have all the guns and we’d need a militia… 😉
It becomes a reality when the US Government stretches the military too thin with involvement in Middle East affairs, pulling National Guard troops out of the Western states… 😉
I think he’s trying to make up with me. You too.
And it may be starting to work with me…. feels herself softening, remembering the thrill …
during the Convention? I was sailing high from the messages of hope and unity. This was one of the images I saved on my computer to keep me motivated:
just found out that Boo has lyme disease
Shit. Poor guy.
Are they pumping him full of tetracycline?
i gotta go over there tomorrow before the debate and get his script. This helps explain the arthritis.
It probably explains a lot of his other behavior too. At least this means that the arthritis could improve?
Oh Boo … that’s just terrible but I do so hope they’ve got some new treatments!
Poor little honey … givve him a big kiss from me … and keep us posted.
I’m so sorry to hear that, BooMan. 🙁
Oh NO!! Hugs and meds to Boo! Hugs to BooMan too.
Your post made me remember that, last fall, I listened to an excellent Canadian call-in show that was about Lyme disease.
Strangely enough, the Canadians have done a rotten job on this disease, and are misdiagnosing it in too many humans.
And the experts on the show praised our U.S. CDC for its work.
You might contact the CDC, or its Web site, to see what’s what. I’ve also e-mailed Darcy who may know of mailing list support groups for others with pets that have Lyme disease.
Oh poor Boo. Lots of scratches behind the ears and on the tummy (for him not you). Well, for you too if you insist.
Keep us updated.
