Wampum has the nominations up for best writing. Susan and blksista have both been nominated from Booman Tribune. Oui has been nominated jointly for European Tribune and Booman Tribune. And Jerome a Paris has been nominated from European Tribune. The nominations are richly deserved.

Congratulations Boo/Euro writers.
This is indeed something, especially when I am contemplating of bowing out temporarily from Leftblogostan as I finish my book.
This is why you haven’t heard from me since Coretta’s funeral.
All this bad news and pain about New Orleans, relatives and Katrina and our country puts a strain on writing and dealing in the real world, too. And I need to finish this novel THIS YEAR. My novel about love and New Orleans and blacks at the turn of the last century.
Reaching for eloquence takes its toll. It’s either the cyber world or the real world.
I’ll be in and out during the weeks ahead. I may comment here and there. But I may not be writing as many diaries as I have before, even at Kos.
See yall later.
You deserve a nomination. Your coverage of Katrina alone deserves serious consideration. And I’m happy that the nomination has been associated with BT. Not sure how that happened, but it’s cool.
Good luck with your book. I can’t wait to read it.
OK, I’m being slightly silly, but I understand.
I’m SOOOO glad you’ve gotten this recognition, though!! Do what you have to do, but know that you’ve moved me so much with your work and that I’m glad that other folks see the genius and passion in it.
And let us know when the book comes out.
:<)
.
I was just doing my thing since September 2004 to get a grip on U.S. politics and what’s happening in Our World.
PS I wasn’t aware of a nomination until an email with a PSS note added, I didn’t understand.
wow – too much and thank you for confidence. I’ll NEVER wave the white flag, I prefer to dye all linnen and underwear red, just to prevent a surrender.
We need to frogmarch the Bush Cabal out of the people’s mansion on pennsylvania ave., so I can do some gardening from 2009 on. lol
PS I have been cut-off from Booman for last ten hours. What a surprise.
“But I will not let myself be reduced to silence.”

You absolutely deserve this!
:<D
OK,so you are temporarily off the hook, blksista. BUT, you better tell us the name of the book when you finish and get it published. Or else! (Now I have to think up some else to go with that).
Your nomination is richly deserved, however. Don’t be a stranger though all of your writing on that novel! We need to hear your strong medicine. Best wishes!
Very nice and well done Susanhu, Blksista, Oui, and Jerome a Paris
Congratulations to all of you!
This is great for all of you. Wonderful writing, so great for all of us.I hope you will continue to honor us with your fine work here.
And thank you, Booman, for helping make a place for these writers.
Kudos! Susan, blksista, Oui, and Jerome a Paris.
Outstanding.
Peace
Congratulations to all of you!
category. Since I’m the only one who writes on it, I suppose that would mean I am also sort of nominated.
Go ‘head and take your bow.
I’m happy to say that I nominated you. And Blksista. And Oui. And Susanhu. And Jerome a Paris. Your writing is EXCELLENT–poignant, funny, thought-provoking, informative–and I’m glad you’ve got/are getting the recognition you deserve!
because it is also nominated in Deserves More Recognition.
Thanks to all who nominated me, whether I know you or not, and thanks to all the nominees, even those who do not have two (2) nominations like me. 😛
nominees, even those who do not have 2 like me.
you for FBI’s most wanted blogger, and I am pretty sure you need to start finding shelf space for your award.
Oh no you didn’t…!!
:<)
I almost spit my food out laughing at that one.
It is quite an honor just to be nominated. I would like to thank the warlords in Washington for providing such a wealth of material and inspiration.
I wonder how Madame Fatwa will survive living with a double nominee… 😉
Congrats!
I am currently nominated for 2 awards, both of which I am a shoo in to lose. Fellow nominees take note and tremble.
If I am able to duplicate this process for several consecutive years, I will become eligible for a cyber-Susan Lucci award.
Keeping my eyes on that prize shall be my watchword.
before I hauled it off to bed, I wanted to stop by and wish each nominee good luck. YOu all did good…hugs…and hope you all win…for you are already winners here.
Congratulations Booman family!
Empire Burlesque is up for three! Best new blog and two best posts.
Empire Burlesque: The Perfect Storm by Chris Floyd
Empire Burlesque: Clowntime is Over: The Last Stand of the American Republic by Chris Floyd
We opened our doors last September so we are still pretty fresh.
congrats to those nominated for their fabulous hard work, dedication and wonderful writing!!!
Congrats to all!!!
But… where’s RubDMC’s work?
Congrats to all the nominees here.
May I add Madman In the Marketplaces nomination to the list? He crosposted several of his pieces here too, which all made the Rec list.
Thank you for circling back to this. You’d have thought I’d have done this last night, right?
But MITM’s writing has been absolutely essential, and I thank goodness that he continues to post here, too.
There are other names lots of folks here would be familiar with. I know the awards are “not that deep” but I’ve learned and/or been inspired by many who write here and at LSF and elsewhere. And if it gives folks more exposure, then even better.
