Say, one thing I’ve noticed about spam is that the senders’ names vary from idiotic to inspired. My most recent came (notionally) from a sender named Romulus Arboleda. Anybody have one that’s better?

I can’t really say I get spam. I only get emails from my daughter and a couple of friends.
As for the cafe, who knows. I did hear refinish is buying for everybody tonight and I heard him say something about spare no expense. So, I’ll take my usual 49 of everything.

Sorry I wasn’t able to play as much. Kid home sick.. and he’s really sick. Thought he was going to puke at one time and he’s too sick to argue and bitch with his sister.
And the police calling me. Actually an officer who is investigation several cases. Skeery.
But having them call me and get my info and stuff… makes me feel a bit more powerful. I’m mad as hell. But I don’t feel so “icky” right now as I did earlier. I guess I was a bit scared because this is a NEW place so I don’t have my footing. The Detective, is a really nice woman, too. She even asked personal questions like, “are you okay?” and “did you manage to get any sleep last night?” Really nice and personable.
See… I didn’t call 911 so I got a bit of a scolding over that but I did call and recall apt security and tehn again told management – who were contacted by the police when this other lady called 911. That’s how they got my name and number. Same thing happened to her… and this has happened elsewhere, too.
We’ll get em.

I do worry occasionally when I’m home alone, even during the day…but I can’t let myself live in fear; I have to stand in my power and live my life as I see fit, even if it means riding the bus alone at night (not so dangerous, since I know about half the bus drivers in the county) or going out during the day to run assorted errands…
It sounds like this place got wild last night. I won’t be around long tonight, but I hope the place gets interesting.

I don’t know if I’ve seen one. The “fast” commercial is the guy in the car with the evil little gadget that’s rude to his girlfriend and makes him do stupid things.
Nope haven’t seen it, but now I start looking for it.
Besides the Olympics opening ceremony, I haven’t seen any television since the Fitzmas press conference. I watch highlights from The Daily Show in-line.

I saw about 10 minutes of the 2nd half. I will watch the Oscars. I’ve got to see Jon Stewart and George Clooney on the same night.
I can’t decide if they are more insulting to women or to men. But one thing is certain — they’ve convinced never to even consider buying a VW.
I can’t decide either. I think they are more insulting to men, actually. I can’t imagine who came up with this ad campaign.
Now ya’ll really have me wanting to see this commercial. Is it on during the Olympics.
