This facility was suggested by CabinGirl. It seems very nice and something that might be suitable for our purposes.
When last I posted a meetup diary, there was interest in a family-friendly place. (Personally I would like to be able to bring Mrs.boran2 and the energetic boran2 boy. He needs lots of space.)
Please comment below about this facility or any other of which you may be aware. Also, set forth some preferred dates and I will be happy to check availability.
(And now for the mandatory disclaimer language, void where prohibited, yada, yada, yada.)
Hi boran,
I’m still interested and may bring the asklets (girl-16 and boy-11). Maybe curly will join as well.
Was May mentioned last time this was discussed? I am fairly flexible on the timing at present.
The rates on the Information Page are from 2004, may be higher now. But we should get a group rate in any case.
End of May/ early June works for me. 🙂
Getting the chilluns done with school for the year.
Early-mid June is better for me too.
That place looks pretty….rustic. That’s the word. My kind of place. Looks like it’s only 4-5 hours by car so that’s good. As far as the date goes, I’m flexible too. Any time in May is good with me.
Now…how about the basketweaving and squaredancing classes?
As Infidelpig would say…Hoo Lawd ;o)
Hey! Good to see plans moving ahead.
As I mentioned to CG, I’m about a 40 minute drive from the Full Moon & would be happy to have a look-see in the near future, if folks are interested. Need a bit of brake work done on the car first, but after that I’ll be rarin’ to go.
I can do nothing as of now but highly recommend the Catskills after the third week of May or so. It’s just beautiful here then. Early & mid May can still be somewhat brisk & nights, of course, are cool all summer.
I’d like to add that June is our most beautiful time here — everything’s truly green, lush & blossoming. Obviously, it’s also warmer in general, though not yet hot.
Just fyi, I’d stay away from July 4th weekend.
The place looks lovely. I would be available for sure in the middle of June and the beginning of May. This is a great idea!
