CNN just aired a story about Trump running for President as an independent, and I can’t even put into words how disgusted I am. Trump is probably the biggest example we have in this country of appearance over reality, a self-promoting liar willing to say anything for attention. The most telling thing is that Forbes repeatedly put him on their lists of 500 richest people even though they knew that he drastically overestimated his net worth. The only years they left him off was when his debts were so much greater than his assets that they would lose credibility by including him. Trump has never been anywhere near the successful businessman he pretends to be, yet countless media outlets go along with the BS and pretend the image is real. I would ask why are so many people so willfully ignorant and gullible, but really, how do you know what to believe when the media is so eagar to distort reality?
Trump’s candidacy would go nowhere. He doesn’t even have Perot’s passion, except for a passion to stroke his own ego.
