Shameless self-promoter that I am, a few days ago I asked BooMan if he would consider having a reader blogs section like over at, umm, dailykos. (There, I’ve done it. I’ve named the place that shall not be named.)
BooMan generously indicated that I should post a diary where those interested could post the relevant information. (blog name and URL)
For those unfamiliar with how this works, the dailykos reader blogs section is in the blogroll area of the front page. It is worth at least a quick look.
So here is your opportunity. Please add a comment below with your information and perhaps a brief statement about your blog.
I look forward to your responses.
Mine is Survivor Left Blogistan at blogomni.blogspot. It is sort of a combination of blog and reality show. There, I pontificate at insufferable length on various current issues and subsequently vote a responsible/irresponsible individual/group off the virtual island. (Okay, you can stop snickering now.) And yes, although I generally detest reality shows, I have an affinity for Survivor.
Has the space, and the time to punch these in, I’m all for it. I, for one, would like to see all the tribe’s blogs in one place.
For the record, mine is new, no readership outside of a “small circle of friends”, so I crosspost here. But someday….
I also am the web guy for the NC 2nd District. I think it’s a good grassroots type Dem blog, along with the other, and growing segment of NC Dem Blogs…but that’s another day, and another diary.
A Voice for Change
De-lurking to announce the new path This is a personal blogspot that has been created to become an activist site for highlighting violence against women and children. The were will be daily posts shortly and weekly summary cross posted to Booman starting late next week. I am currently awaiting permission from major violence prevention sites for citing their materials.
Buy Blue
This is a blog as well as a reference site…it has my heart, blood, sweat, and tears into it for the past 15 months….
If we have to make a choice – make it buyblue.
First blogspot is “Voice for Change” not “a”
Congratulations on your new blog, SallyCat. I think it’s great, and I appreciate the kid-related issues, especially. (I tried leaving you a comment there, but I’m having log-in problems. Thought I had a blogger account, but it looks like someone else may have taken my “name”.)
i’m still trying to get booman to list my blog on his “fellow kossacks” (of which i am one, proud owner of the low low id number 1412) section.
The Mystery of the Haunted Vampire.
Panhandle (W.Va.) Grassroots for Democracy.
What a coincidence :o)
I just opened a blog today. Can’t say I know what the direction will be yet, but I have a vague sense that it’ll have something to do with the fact that our pResident is a FUCKING WAR CRIMINAL.
Ahhh, that’s better. Good to get that off my chest :o)
super’s blog
Thanks boran2
I’m not quite sure what In Flight is going to be yet, but I just started it a few days ago so I still have time to find out. Probably some politics, probably some other miscellaneous bits and pieces would be my guess.
House of Henry at http://www.wagonlanding.com.
I mainly blog about educational issues, and specifically, I keep my eyes and ears out for helping teachers and helping children to have fuller, more humane, more vital classroom experiences. Anything that gets in the way of that usually feels my wrath, especially things like NCLB, but any high-stakes, measureable accountability program.
Your issues are my issues too. I like your writing, and I look forward to reading Becoming Mr. Henry.
My blog is about politics and religion, mostly anti-war, anti-defense, pro-God, pro-Love, pro-Sanity.
OK, I opened mine Imagine A World Of.. just a few months back with the public call, by VFP, for the Impeachment of bush and cheney.
While I don’t have the time, and most of all Energy, at the end of a workday or workweek to write my jumbled thoughts into sense, I use it to post up Articles, reports etc. etc. that keep us from that World.
I also use it, as I did a website I once had, to post up/pass on, Links etc. on a veriaty of Issues, at least untill the host starts yelling I’m using to much of whatever it is.
By the way, Reason I don’t reply to many Diaries, though I’ll read many, is also the same Lack of Energy and frankly Clear Thinking to make a good point, in case you were wondering, actually I’m Pooped Right Now!!
Oh, also by the way.
I didn’t have a counter before, untill I started using google adsense, than decided to put one on the site as a tracker.
Found StatCounter and though I don’t get a huge amount of visitors I have been growing slowly and with the tracker it has been really interesting to see where my traffic is coming from, all over the place!!
Have I told you today how much I love you? No matter…it can’t be said or heard enough. And I love your blog, too. (Just not as much as I love you. ;o)
My blog is Still Sherm. It’s all personal stuff, with some political rants and such. I’ve been in a bit of a pic mode over there recently. It’s really just my place to write about life and think about things, as I’ve always been a writer. There it is.
tee hee hee….you need to check who is using your computer sweetie…
Bad puppy that one…or is that a good pup?
Tee-Hee… Yes, but I just got to ‘4’ myself. How many folks can say that? 🙂
I know sweetie. The above is actually MY blog. Whoopsie! 🙂
texas gun safety
…that sure is a loaded comment, there. ;o)
ilona, I have been looking into your blog. It is great! Thanks for picking up the slag into this matter. Hugs..
…thanks for the positive comments, and please pass the link along to anyone you know who might need the resources there. Have a good night…
I’m proud to announce the world’s first Autism Spectrum Disorder Scoop Blog!
OurSpectrum – Discussing the Life, Science, and Politics of ASD.
If anyone has connections with the Autism Caucus, I’m looking for an interview. Anonymous comments are welcome and, I think last I fooled with it, even anonymous front-page stories.
Come to OurSpectrum, be a front-pager!!!
Have a low UID!!!
Progressive Programmer, or “progprog” for short.
I don’t post as often as I would like, but whaddayagonnado.
Thanks for doing this, boran2. I’ve had my humble blogspace since July of last year and have steadily seen increased traffic. I write mostly on issues involving immigration, but also pick and choose from headlines involving BushCo and their global terror adventure. I’m also happy to count Duke1676, DuctapeFatwa, katiebird and Nanette as contributors.
Here’s the link, hope y’all will stop by and say hello: maneegee.blogspot.com
oh wait. We want them to find out about the Conspiracy.
OK. Let’s start over.
If you do not like Conspiracies and do not wish to be drawn into one, whatever you do, stay away from Man Eegee’s blog!
Remember, you have been warned!
Nice group you’ve got there.
I know this is off the subject, b2, but I caught that diary re: the food bill and wondered if you saw this article?
No I hadn’t. Thanks!
They never stop, do they?
it’s a great group of voices that I’m honored to share blogspace with. Now if I can just get my butt in gear to do some writing tonight…
“An old soul…
Education policy, California politics, chocolate and knitting (hah! I don’t have time to knit these days)
The Left End of the Dial. From the masthead:
If you know what I’m like around the frogpond, you have a decent idea of what to expect on my home turf. Peace y’all.
Here’s mine Moldy City. Mostly about post-Katrina reconstruction, but politics in general-local and national. Some personal stuff. Good list of Katrina links–roughly the top half of the list. Looking for Mississippi/Alabama Gulf Coast links to add, BTW.
This is an exciting idea!
I blog about food and health issues (It too late for me to list our contributors, I’d forget someone for sure, but I’ve had a lot of help from my friends) at Eat 4 Today.
Great idea!
My focus is discovering and explaining issues for friends and family who may not have time to research the background of news stories that they hear.
I love to research, and when a topic catches my eye I try and share what I’ve learned. I also enjoy finding quirky information here and there and offering insights or links to more information.
I’ve been blogging for about five months now and am still finding my comfort zone.
I want to be interesting, informative, and have snarky fun.
As far as the traditional diary type blog, I don’t like reading about what people ate for breakfast or what music they are playing. I won’t bore you with mine either.
Take a look! Post! Link! Thanks!

I’ve got a few but probably the one about immigration reform: Migra Matters is the most consistently active.
I set my blog up to house all of the data that I’ve been collecting during my 6 months and counting returning veteran research project. PTSD Combat has combat-related PTSD news, info, resources, and veterans events listing. Hey, it’s only been up a tad past 3 weeks and has already been visited by veterans’ groups, myriad universities and even the House up on the Hill….I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not. :o)
It’s even this week’s ‘Blog of the Week’ at Genetics and Health.
Excellent idea, Boran2. I have no blog yet, but would love to see this happen.
Thanks boran2 for the diary. Now we can find all the BTers’ blogs in one spot!
Mine is primarily a photoblog w/ some political, humour, etc. thrown in: parvum opus
