Gardening is good 4 you
Sunny and springlike here — but thunderstorms expected later. How is where you are?
Good morning Mary!!!! Luke said to tell you hi. LOL
The weather here looks like partly cloudy, humid and warm. I ma hoping we get rain as we have a wildfire in the county.
Good Morning. Welcome to the cafe, George will be your server today.
Say hello George.
woof
Good Morning. Come here Gerorge for you treat!!! (slips george a piece of bacon)
OK I’m back. I keep forgetting with a lap top you have to take the battery out sometimes.
Refinish you’re as bad as my relatives slipping George food. It’s fun to do, but they aren’t the ones taking him out all the time. π
Since it’s virtual bacon thought give him all you want. π
Mary I didn’t mention that’s a beautiful picture for the cafe. π
I slip George food all the time. Just because I tell YOU to only feed him dogfood doesn’t mean I can’t break the rule. He doesn’t belong to me.
I didn’t take the picture but it is lovely.
I knew everybody in the cafe sliped him food, but YOU didn’t know during happy hour I slip him beer. Poor thing is really hopeless.
Things here are finally getting back to normal. Family and friend are gone and I can finally look forward to the highlight of the day being a nap.
I like house guests. I like it even more when they leave. Except for a few family members who can entertain themselves and need as much down time as I do. They can stay as long as they want.
I’ve heard old sayings about houst guest coming and going and they apply.
My only problem is getting out of my routine. You know naps are very important. π
He ain’t hopeless just smart. LOL
He’s not smart, just lazy. That’s the reason I’ve been over at Manny’s trying to trade him for Bud. I don’t think Manny is going to buy it though.
I wish Manny would bring Bud by the cafe again. I love when Bud visits. Manny? He’s OK too.
ROTFLMAO!!!! Like you could go a day without George. He knows he is safe.
I can picture George with all four paws up against the door and me trying to push him out. He knows he’s got it made.
George doesn’t strike me as a tough Arizona dog like Bud. It’s probably better that you not trade him.
You’re probably right.
Well I’ve got to jump up and get some stuff done.
I’ll check back later.
BTW I’m now totally enamored of those clickable smiley things. I’m glad catnip explained them.
Foggy, overcast and 37 degrees here. Feels like summer.
When my daughter went to college she took a postcard with her that they sell in tourist shops around here. It had a gradiated gray background and the four captions, one along each side, read:
A Winter Day In Seattle
A Spring Day In Seattle
A Summer Day In Seattle
A Fall Day In Seattle
My sister lived in Olympia for a few years and she sort of said the same thing. Cuts down on wondering what you should wear for the day.
I hold this quote from Mark Twain dear:
Morning maryb.
Thought you’d sneek in that thing about George digging did ya.
I thought George would prefer outdoor work today rather than being in the kitchen. Or do you have bad weather?
No it’s supposed to be nice here. Mid 80’s.
George is like me. Yard work – Pheeewwww. I don’t think I could get him to wake up anyway.
Looking forward to your multi-tasking brillance today.
Ok, George can work indoors. I was out late and didn’t get much sleep so George can do the running around.
Im going to have to closed down for a minute. Computer running very slow and freezing up.
Be back in a little while.
Hey there, all. Greetings from the balmy Catskills!
These clouds dissipated overnight to give us a sunny, beautiful morning full of birdsong, with an air temperature in the ’60s. Incredible!
I’m afraid I’m on the run this morning, but I’ll see y’all later. Enjoy a lovely Saturday!
great picture WW
come back later with more
I’ll see what I can do π
Rain and snow possible — snow level down to 500 feet. A lot of road closures; major accident on 101 in Marin County that killed two people and led to one arrest. π
Was supposed to go to a digital photography class this morning, but it was cancelled due to instructor illness. π So spouse and I are going to do some fun stuff anyway — heading out to breakfast, making some financial transfers, then going to find someplace to watch the Sharks play on TV this afternoon. Oh, that’s right, I need to do my pick (DJ didn’t remind me this week — probably because I’m ahead of her in the pool…)!
Hope everyone has a fun day…see you folks tonight…
By Cali. Have fun making those financial transfers.
Howdy folks. I’m sitting down to record some grades and I see partly sunny skies out my window. I think it will be a great day for a walk!!
spread out — it’s pretty empty in here. And I’m going to be leaving in about 15 minutes too. So you may get a lot of papers graded with minimal interruption — unless you distract yourself with that walk π
in an hour or so. Don’t trash the cafe too much?
Another fonky day in the foothills. 28°, overcast w/ intermittent snow thru Monday…ARGGGGG! All the grayness is starting to effect us sun lovers up here, we’re not used to it at all.
Short answer = no spring, no gardening…some shoveling may be required.
View from the porch
Have a good one…later
Peace
I’m back; with pretty fingers. Looks like everyone is either gardening or shoveling.
Glad to see you are moving on and not worrying about Luke. LOL
Over night temps are really cold for us…ice in the morning. Cold this weekend maybe low 50’s.
Gardening – I’ll set up some more seeds in my dining room window-seat nursery. Warm sunny southern exposure. The seeds get to stay until the seedlings are about 2 inches tall then transplanted and moved to the enclosed patio for cooler temps and west light.
I think I have too many plants! All the tomatoes and peppers sprouted! At least a dozen Roma tomato plants – guess I’ll give away most of them.
Time to pretend I’m up…shower and dress, that kind of stuff. Damn head cold has me disoriented…hard to read let alone type!
I am so sorry you are not feeling well. Sending warm thoughts of love and healing.
Nothing like a legit excuse for hanging our in your jammies at 11 on a Saturday morning though! And a great reason for staying in on a cold but sunny day…probably watch (sleep through) some bad old movies.
Only the head is disconnected…body feels fine!
watching old movies is what I do when I’m sick — doesn’t matter if I sleep through part because I’ve already seen them a million times.
Feel better SallyCat!
I’ve been working on designs this today. It seems the muse is upon me. LOL
I guess this keeps me out of trouble. LOL
I really like that Loving Family design. Will that go on a T-shirt or some kind of poster?
Thank you!!!!!
It is already on t-shirts, mugs and bumper stickers. you can click the image and it will take you to the site. I might add it to a small poster later today.
I am going to go take a nap and then get up and do some more designs this afternnon and evening. Have a good afternoon folks
