It doesn’t matter what they say
It doesn’t matter what they do
All that matters is my relationship to you
Gonna take you out
Get you in my car
We’re going for a long long drive
We’re going down to A Town Called Paradise
Down where we can be free
We’re gonna drink that wine
We’re gonna jump for joy
In a town called Paradise
We’re going up the mountainside
Child you can look for miles
And see the vision on the west
We’re gonna swing round
And look from north to south
Swing round from east to west
And go round in a circle too
And we’re gonna start dancing
Like we’ve never done before
I’m gonna take you in my arms
I’m gonna squeeze you tight
Everything will be alright
We’re gonna get that squealin’ feelin’
Gonna take you down to a town called Paradise,
Down where we can be free
It doesn’t matter what they say
It doesn’t matter what they do
All that matters is my relationship to you
By the river we will linger
As we drive down to be free
We’re gonna ride all night long
All along the ancient highway
Gonna be there for the mornin’ comes

It appears to be. But, they’ll go out and have their good time and will come crawling back to the cafe with hangovers and we’ll both be very smug about it.
Ductape you’re such a gourmet I thought you would have known. Ham drippings, a little coffe and water. The oil globules float on top of the water/coffee, hence the name red eye gravy.
on second thought. Now if anyone invites me to dine and mentions such a condiment, I will know in advance to explain that red eye gravy is absolutely forbidden to people who take OxyContin. Or Lipitor. Or aspirin.
You and SN are just food snobs. 🙂 When I first went to Europe I couldn’t bring myself to eat snails. Some friends talked me into it and after that I was hooked.
You have to go to KBOO radio station and download a program they have for streaming radio. Doesn’t take long. However, have you ever done steaming radio over your computer?
Hold your hand palm down. Look at the section of finger between the main knuckle and the one closest to the fingertip.
If there is hair there, you have Irish blood.
(This test is more reliable on people with lots of Caucasian and African blood because Asians and Native Amerians have a hairtaker gene, so your Irish blood may be invisible)
This information was previously posted some time ago by me, but I could sense that people wanted it again, especially the ones who did not see it the first time and were facing another St. Patrick’s Day wondering if they had Irish blood.

BTW, CG, at work your photos were filtered out so I finally got to see your house. It looks great! I assume that my invitation is in the mail.
Thanks boran!
It should read “Everclear”.
Did someone mention Everclear?
Never mind. I see you were talking about music.
Huh? I miss so much coming here only intermittently.
I was thinking of the other ‘everclear’. The drinking kind. 🙂
Oh. Sorry, I don’t get out much these days. Last time I was out everybody was drinking mead out of tankards.
Mead, did someone say Mead?
Umm, not very selective in your drink choices, are you?
I try not to be. 🙂
That got your attention.
As if everybody didn’t know it would. 🙂
How you doing, FM? Did you and George get outside to frolic today?
I’m fine, how about you?
Gotten over the grits and Miracle Whip diet yet? 🙂
Mr. Nature gets back from Japan tomorrow and planning to make just that for his welcome home breakfast. Mmmmmmm.
Have I got some recipes for you. Do you make a good gravy?
I guess it depends on what you mean by “good gravy.” I don’t do sausage gravy or red-eye gravy.
Why, do you cook? You want to come up here and cook for Mr. Nature? I’m sure your tastes are right along the same lines as his.
I do all the cooking in the house. My favorite is Itialian, but since I’ve been home it more southern.
Now you be nice to Mr. Nature after his long business trip and cook some grits.
Why do I have to be nice to him?
Because you’re such a kind and caring person. 🙂
I don’t know where you heard that but it’s a lie.
I was just reading about your nerve conduction test. Yuck!
Yes it hurt like hell. Won’t ever have one of those again.
Can one of you put up a froggybottom when this gets too full?
Thanks…
Sure. 🙂
CG is gone? So what going on SN?
I just opened up the all night lounge. Looks like everyone else has a social life except you and me, FM. 🙁
It appears to be. But, they’ll go out and have their good time and will come crawling back to the cafe with hangovers and we’ll both be very smug about it.
Thank you. This term has puzzled me for some time. Is it like the red velvet cake, a gravy colored red?
It’s gross, apparently it’s made with coffee and the drippings from cooking sausage.
Is not.
You’re right, I just looked it up. It’s bacon or ham drippings. Mmmmm, bacon grease and coffee.
Who could ask for more, expecially on grits and biscuits. You’ve been sheltered to much. You need to learn to eat good food. 🙂
Ductape you’re such a gourmet I thought you would have known. Ham drippings, a little coffe and water. The oil globules float on top of the water/coffee, hence the name red eye gravy.
You make it sound so delicious. Fat globules…mmmmm.
on second thought.
Some friends talked me into it and after that I was hooked.
very tasty with a butter and garlic sauce.
I always had them in Germany. I’m not spelling it right, but they called the sneckin along with krauterbutter. Wonderful.
Did you see the earlier cafe?
Those are so cool! I’m definitely painting my bookcases now.
Off subject, but are ya’ll listening to Janet? I don’t know if it’s Janet or Katie talking right now.
How do I do that?
You have to go to KBOO radio station and download a program they have for streaming radio. Doesn’t take long. However, have you ever done steaming radio over your computer?
I got it, thanks! I think that’s DJ giggling in the background!
She said earlier she would be giggling.
Ok, she kicked ass! She didn’t sound nervous at all, very professional and calm.
I think she did great. Yeaaaa Janet!!!!
Just a quick drive-by to tout the best Irish Folk/Fusion Band nobody’s ever heard of this side of the pond
clik image for more
Later
Peace
Isn’t this St. Paddy’s Day? Where’s my green beer, dammit!
MM I’m sorry, but if I didn’t know better I’d say George has turned green.
He just doesn’t know when to stop drinking.
BTW another wonderful picture.
Bottoms up!
I’m afraid with George, when I glance over at him, that’s what I’m looking at now. 🙂
Hold your hand palm down. Look at the section of finger between the main knuckle and the one closest to the fingertip.

Ductape I think after enough beer, even the Irish can’t tell.
Starry night lounge now open.
