LOL I am always chipper in the am or at least try to be. Every morning I wake up is a good day and a day where I can do something to make the world a better place for people!!!
It also helps that I had a really good nights sleep last night and that today is Friday. I will still be busy as hell all weekend but it is the weekend and I love doing all my political stuff anyway. LOL
Doing Great!!!! I am on my way out the door for work. You Froggies have a great day. I will check in tonight when I finally get home around 10 or so. LOL
Does someone with a Photobucket account have any idea why my images don’t display anymore? When I sign in, they all appear to be there & there is no message saying they won’t display.
But, when I try to display them, I get a message saying that the image isn’t available anymore.
Up for a bit this morning — spouse is a bit under the weather so he called in sick today; he’s still in bed. Nothing serious — just a bit shnuffly and had a mild headache (there’s a lot of pollen hanging around — probably having some allergy problems), so didn’t feel like he’d be able to safely operate his bus. I probably won’t be around much today; I’m hoping that we can actually get some stuff done around here since he’ll be home all day — if he camps out on the computer all morning I’ll be highly pissed. We’re thinking about going out to dinner tonight — I suggested The Fish Market so he can have fish and I don’t have to cook it.
Hope everyone has a great day — going to go check some sports stuff while I wait for him to get up…
Today will be a mixed blessing at work. Every other Friday they bring in Krispy Kremes. The bad news is, they are evil! EEEEEEEE-VIL I tell you! Especially for us diabetics.
The good news, they sure are tasty. I wish they could get some without the frosting, but alas, I once asked the manager at our Evil Distribution Point about it, and he said you can buy them unfrosted, but the frosting helps them hold their shape and lightness. If you don’t frost them they will soon collapse into an unidentifiable mass of ex-doughnut.
Maybe I’ll ask if they can get some unfrosted anyway. They can’t possibly last long enough to collapse in that crowd
You like Cinnabons but you find Krispy Kremes too sugary? Ummmmmmmm, okay . . . maybe it’s something else in the mix besides the sugar. Personally the thought of eating more than one Cinnabon makes my insulin receptors shudder. They’re good, but boy are they sweet.
I ended up behaving myself and not having a donut (yet). I suppose just because they’re free doesn’t mean I have to scarf them down. Plus I had to hit the ground running when I got in and have been chained to my desk ever since.
I’m trying to remember what April in Spokane is like. I’m not sure I’ve ever been there in April, and if I was it was about 35 years ago. But I can tell you this: Spokane is in a desert, and it will be spring, so dress warm for the evenings but during the day you should be able to get by with something a little lighter.
Potato chips are about 90% air too, y’know. Of course I don’t think you could accuse them of being “fluffy.”
I’ve always been amused by the thought that potato chips and ice cream are two high-profit ways to sell air, since that (by volume) is the main component of each. Well, I don’t know about the main component of ice cream, but the thing that makes it ice cream is churning the air into it.
I’m also with you other “donut deniers,” for as much as they seem good in theory, they almost always seem to disappoint me in reality. And then the guilt … that sugar… that fat….ooooh.
Chips kind of all into that guilty category for me as well, but I must confess a slight addiction to the Kettle Cooked Jalapeno ones that Lays makes… yum!
My blog about Eman’s day may be put up on the CodePink National sight. Might.
I’ll be doing some more CodePink action alerts, like what happened to our ladies in Wyden’s office and how the Homeland Security jerks were there. Upcoming Mother’s Day Vigil.
Thing is: I don’t know how to do the boxes. Can I make PINK/MAGENTA boxes? Boxes that are entirely shaded pink?
Anyone have those html codes? Thank you. I’m trying to make the Alert Diarys a bit more… POW
Janet, Hi, I lost my link to the code site, just did a google search and didn’t find the one that Manee rec’s months ago so if he is reading “Manee, can you post the link again…the one that tells the codes for backgrounds”, it was the easiest to use site.
And yes you can make boxes any color just about if you find the site. I did find this site that may help here.
Hi everyone else, looks like a beautiful sunny day here in socal and I am going to be busy most of the day, so see you all later.
I could show you how to do pink boxes, but then I’d probably have to rip my eyeballs out. Olivia’s already got me wearing sunglasses at night as it is. 🙂
Here’s the basic code:
< div style=”background-color:pink; color: black; padding:10px;border:solid;border-width:1px;” >Pink is the new orange< /div >
Of course you want to take the spaces before and after the angle brackets out in order to have your box look like this:
Pink is the new orange
You can do all sorts of groovy stuff with that “style” attribute, but that should get you started.
mumble, mumble…zzz.
Finallly!!!!
Good Morning to all My Frogiies!!!!! Happy Friday to everyone!!!! I hope today is a fabulous day for all.
Good morning…You’re chipper this morning, as usual!
LOL I am always chipper in the am or at least try to be. Every morning I wake up is a good day and a day where I can do something to make the world a better place for people!!!

Believe me, I wasn’t complaining!
Now I’m being chipper too… 🙂
After reading the 24/7 and the other 24/7 I’m surprised you’re up so early, CG! I slept through the fun.
What the heck happened last night?
George must have put something in the drinks.
No George is just as bewildered as I am.
(It’s not like I have much choice about getting up…)
Does anybody have anything to put in the News Bucket today? It seems like a slow day for that-maybe I should skip it?
I could find something to put into the News Bucket, but that would require energy and initiative.
Yep. I have the same problem.
I did find a quote for it though…it would go well with goofy news stories. And we could always use a little fun around here, right?
Hey, if you have the energy I say go fo it.
Sorry CabinGirl, but nope, don’t have anything. Besides I just learned to blockquote.
Okay, then, day off for CabinGirl! 🙂
Then you need practice. Find some interesting tidbit from your local paper. Those are always fun.
Like I said before, the most interesting stuff is neighbors visiting each other.
I’ll start looking around, but I’m not promising anything. 🙂
But I’m counting on you…. :::sniff:::
It will probably take me longer to get things blockquoted and in boxes than if I just mailed it to you. 😉
LOL I know.
Good Morning Everyone!!
Howdy FamilyMan!!!!!
Morning RF. Besides being chipper, how are you today?
Doing Great!!!! I am on my way out the door for work. You Froggies have a great day. I will check in tonight when I finally get home around 10 or so. LOL
I hope you are well also.
Have a good day RF.
That’s so pretty. I think I’d drag some chairs down there and sit all day.
Throw in a pillow and blanket, and I might join you.
Good morning CG, SN, katieb … Family Man if you’re back from your nap 🙂
How are you feeling this am CG — did you get any sleep last night?
I got a few hours. I’m going to go for a long walk this morning to make sure that doesn’t happen again tonight, though. 🙂
How about you? I think you were up after I went back to sleep.
I think you guys were still going after that. My eyes are a little tired this morning, but I’m glad it’s friday. 🙂
Good Morning!!

But, when I try to display them, I get a message saying that the image isn’t available anymore.
Has that happened to anyone else?
Have you moved them around into another directory?
I just submitted one and posted it with no problem.
Otherwise, how are you today KB?
No — no changes at all, but I haven’t submitted a photo in a long time. Maybe that’s made the photos inactive?
I’ll try submitting one tonight and see it it ‘takes’
Well I’m outta here. I’ll check back later with everyone.

Rain has returned to Northern CA…fortunately is casual Friday…so color jeans and boots today!
It was fun being rowdy last night…but boy am I tired this morning!
random puppy pic – this one is for Manee!
And how are we today?

I’m probably one of those strange people that really really dislike them…too sugary.
Now I’m all in favor of Cinnabons…and extra icing…but there is just something about Krispy Kremes that makes me curl my nose!
How’s it going otherwise OMIR?
I’m coming to your state in a month…unfortunately it’s over in Spokane…way to far for any meetings. What’s late April weather like?
You like Cinnabons but you find Krispy Kremes too sugary? Ummmmmmmm, okay . . . maybe it’s something else in the mix besides the sugar. Personally the thought of eating more than one Cinnabon makes my insulin receptors shudder. They’re good, but boy are they sweet.

I think it’s the fluffy air in the K.Kremes…
But since I only rarely eat donuts and stuff…no big deal…
Now potato chips on the other hand….!

You’re diabetic? OH no!
Well I guess that means I can drink all your alcohol AND eat your Krisy Kremes for you. After all, what are friends for 🙂
Any other vices you want to volunteer to help me with? None of the ones I really enjoy, mind you.
There’s still music and soothing the savage beast – but I think you can HANdle those juuuuust fine. 🙂
My blog about Eman’s day may be put up on the CodePink National sight. Might.

Hi everyone else, looks like a beautiful sunny day here in socal and I am going to be busy most of the day, so see you all later.
Thank you for the colors 🙂
has on her news bucket a cool pink box – just wanna know how she
< div style=”width: 560px; overflow: none; border: 4px solid #330033; background-color: #ffcc99; padding: 8px;” >Insert boxed text here< /div >
Close up the spaces at the beginning and ending of what’s between all of the < >. and you get:
The 6 digits after solid (330033) and background-color (ffcc99) are what changes the colors.
Replace the (ffcc99) with whatever the code is for pink.
4px is the thickness of the line making the box, 3px thinner, 5px thicker, etc.
I think this will help with quotes, blocks
and alerts so much
Thank you!!! I will even do paragraphs!! Whoot
you are as cool as MSOC. I think she was the pioneer of diaries with magenta colored boxes.
MUHAHAHAHA!!!
I’m thinking this: I’m only going to x-post those CodePink action alerts at the big o.
This frog is my sanctuary 🙂
visibone colorlab chart
Thanks for all that, I have bookmarked this page so I can reference it.
change the size of the box, too
whoot!
You’ve created… A MONSTER!!!
buhahaha
Thanks all~
I’d hate to have to admit to how much time I invested (wasted) before CG and dada came to the rescue on my learning curve, ha!
Thanks 🙂 I copied down the directions into my HTML “word pad” 🙂
Was able to put to use yours and Diane’s help for the Mother’s Day action diary.
I could show you how to do pink boxes, but then I’d probably have to rip my eyeballs out. Olivia’s already got me wearing sunglasses at night as it is. 🙂

I see I’ve been beaten to the punch . . .
and the alcohol has been sucked out of the punch 🙂
here!
