Our poll of dates did not prove fruitful, the most that any one weekend received was 20%. No mandate here.
As such, I am taking a new approach to this. The Clearwater Festival is being held on June 17 and 18. I live a few miles away. If there is interest, I will look into lodging nearby. Right now Mrs.boran2 is dealing with several health problems and our house is tiny, so I’m not sure if I can provide sleeping space. I will approach her with the idea. Of course, everyone attending would be invited to a gala barbecue party at Casa boran.
Also, I would be happy to provide transportation in the area for those attending. If we decide to attend one day of the festival, I would also love to take everyone to historic nearby Cold Spring on the Hudson (or other site of choice) for a day trip.
I recognize that the 18th is Father’s day but I’ll await your comments. Also, if people want to come on Friday, I will take that day off to get everyone settled.
