   He is the second former DeLay staffer to plead guilty to federal charges in connection with the lobbying probe. The plea agreement makes no allegation that DeLay did anything wrong.

   Court papers for the first time also referred to a third former DeLay aide, Ed Buckham. Buckham, a onetime DeLay chief of staff, is described only as Lobbyist B, but is easily identifiable because the documents say Rudy worked with him after a brief stint at Abramoff’s lobbying firm.[..]

   Rudy faces 5 years in an upscale Rebar Hotel but is cooperating….

   While I’ve been aware for a while that there’s a guy named Hugh Hewitt who’s a gasbag wingnut, I’ve never seen or heard him in action until the last several days where he’s been getting lots of face time on the cable news talking head shows.

   This guy is pathetic; so disconnected from reality, so determined to spout the propaganda that he’s not rational.

   And, hearing the pomposity in his voice and seeing it in his demeanor, I can’t help but think that if he had soundproof earplugs in his ears he wouldn’t even bother to speak, so infatuated he seems to be with ther sound of his own voice.

    Dan Froomkin columnist, Wapo, has cited our very own BoomanTribune’s front page (“magnum opus on the Plame Affair”) analysis of Waas’ ‘Insulating Bush’ piece in the National Journal.

    Froomkin takes the “traditional media” to task:
