     Booman, I just posted in the wrong Open Thread on Dan Froomkin citing your piece on Waas’ Insulating Bush, NJ (as “magnum opus on Plame Affair”)..

     Froomkin taks the traditional media to task on their silence.

     The blogosphere is abuzz with Waas’s latest revelation. The Booman Tribune blog explains how it is in fact Waas’s “magnum opus on the Plame Affair.”

     But in the traditional media, the reaction has been utter and complete silence — both after Waas’s well-documented March 2 story, and again today. There’s not one word about it in a single major outlet this morning.

     Go guy.

   Truthout.org has an article on William F. Buckley’s interview to be aired on BloombergTV this weekend.

   “Buckley Says Bush Will Be Judged on Iraq War, Now a “Failure”

   That we knew. What’s new is Buckley’s generous defense of Cheney:

   [..]Buckley called Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, a longtime friend, “a failed executor” of the war. And Vice President Dick Cheney “was flatly misled,” Buckley said. “He believed the business about the weapons of mass destruction.”[..]

   (emphasis added)

   Misled or factoid revision? The vice was front and center twisting arms on intel. Who misled him if not he, himself?

   METRO

   Today marked the introduction of the latest METRO transit service, dubbed, CAMTRANS.  

   

   This change is in response to the declining rider-ship during off peak hours and seeks to minimize the overall equipment costs associated with under utilized capabilities.

   Off-peak riders are requested to add an appropriate amount of time to accommodate the slower speeds.

   They have also been advised to avoid the front of the CAMTRANS, until random occurrences of spitting are resolved.

   7:30 AM sunday – Got up late. wapo – dana priest article- UNAMED OFFICIALS- Iran will use terror weapons if they are attacked! No kidding. So, here we go again. I will not go back and revisit the crap that led up to what we have today  but I will say that this “unnamed” sources bull has to stop. If ya can’t use their names, then don’t bother saying-“unnamed sources”! Refer to them only if challenged. There ought to be a contest – “Who can correctly name the date when: then add such ideas as– first overflight, first “fired upon’ first patrol boat threatened – ya all get my drift.
    Or-n what is the best title for the coming action in Iran? How about ‘MIGHTY SWORD” or maybe “TAKE THAT”- I like that.
