Here’s a ‘salute’ to all the burqa bearers whose warped neediness results in harm to others.

Attempts to control not only the behavior of but to outright rule over the lives of others is abominable. Yet such individuals are all around us, having already surfaced in South Dakota, Kansas, many Southern states and, of course, too many countries abroad.

This form of slavery may have been officially disavowed here but its insidious relatives have sprouted throughout this country, nurtured by a number of the elite on the right who have no desire to live in such gulags themselves but who benefit politically and financially by paying lip service to such barbarians.

    First they came for those displaying sexual artistry and I did not speak out–because I am not one who displays such creativity and crafts.

    Then they came for those possessing birth control prescriptions, and I did not speak out–because I don’t need such assistance.

    Then they came for those using condoms, and I did not speak out–because I do not use that form of birth control.

    Then they came for the sex toys and other pleasurables, and I did not speak out–because I don’t feel the need to use them.

    Then they came for all the women who wouldn’t disavow abortion as an option and I did not speak out–because I cannot abort.

    Then they came for all the females who wouldn’t pledge and practice chastity and I did not speak out–because I am not a woman.

    Then they came for me, for heaven knows what reason, and there was no one left who would speak out for me–because I didn’t earlier.
