6PM Sunday, was sunny, and 70 degrees, then around 7PM the wind came up suddenly, about like you’d throw a switch on, went to bed 9PM (ya, I know, no one will beleive it) up again at 2PM, sleet/snow and 32 degrees, normal ND weather for this time of year.
Had nice breakfast of potato/onion/scrambled egg. Tried to nap some from 4-5AM. Now I’m waiting patiently for a sunrise photo op, but very overcast, so there might not be one.
On dial-up, responses will be very sloooooow. No 4s today either, as I’m on IE here too.
Yes out on the patio. We’ve got the little buzzy bug that bite and drink you blood (mes, mis Can’t spell this am) out early now and can only sit back there during certain times of day.
I noticed that right away when I moved down here – the mosquitoes are smaller, but they’re damn hungry and they bite all day long, not just at dawn and dusk like the ones up north. I wish I had a screen porch instead of a deck. Been thinking of having it screened somehow but it’s likely to be costly.
I just bought a squeegee and washed my huge bay window in the kitchen for the first time in two years. I’m so ashamed. But, wow, I can’t believe how much better the view is now!
Nope. I’ve got to finish the house and start on the lawn. The house I can always put off for a little while, but the lawn is another matter. Neighbors ya know.
It’s just my luck that one of my neighbors has the perfect lawn. Even when I get mine looking good, his make mine looks like he’s living by slobs.
Gorgeous. BTW I initially read that as morning “frog” on the pond. V. silly.
Morning all!
Tea of the day: Ming Thai Oolong.
Procrastination works anecdote: Got home late last night and found two pieces that needed editing in my inbox. Decided to skip it until this morning. Got more email withdrawing one of the pieces. I’ll probably get an alternate later, but for the moment, my editing load for the day is halved and that means more writing time. Yay!
Hope everybody has a decent Monday. I’m not going to be around much since I’ve got a bunch to do before I head to the airport.
See ya later.
Monring Andi!!!! Did I miss something? Are you heading out on a trip? Hope today is a great day for you also.
I’m going to be gone all week.
I used to have to travel a lot for work but now I don’t have too that often so it makes me pretty grumpy.
Have a good trip and a sucessful one. I know the puppies will miss you as will we.
I hope your travel goes smoothly, and that the week passes quickly.
It’s still way too eatly for breakfast, so I’m going back to sleep. See you in a few hours.
sweet dreams Omir
Just wanted to say good morning and I hope everyone has a great Monday!!!! I am on my way out the door. Work calls. LOL
I did record a new podcast this am. I hope you will give it a listen and record a response for me.
Laughing Matters and So Does Your Vote
Morning Everyone. Andi, you have a safe trip.

Sounds like you had a heck of a day/night/day.
Gee, without Andi it looks like the coffee cart might be able to serve waaaay into the morning and I can open a cafe at my leisure. 🙂
Morning everyone.
Morning SN. Get your camera figured out.
This might be a nice morning picture for everyone. Expecially the ones waiting for green.
Why didn’t I make it level. Because I wanted everyone to lean to the left? Pun intended.
That’s beautiful, FM. Do you and your mom ever bring some chairs down there and sit in the shade?

Yep they’re hungry little critters down here. I’d love to have the patio as a sun room. Glass all around. I look at it as the best of both worlds.
I’m still in AC, no mosquitoes and I still have the view. Then I got to thinking, someone would have to wash those windows (me).
I just bought a squeegee and washed my huge bay window in the kitchen for the first time in two years. I’m so ashamed. But, wow, I can’t believe how much better the view is now!
Is it a slacker day for you?
Nope. I’ve got to finish the house and start on the lawn. The house I can always put off for a little while, but the lawn is another matter. Neighbors ya know.

You got big plans today?
I’ve got an ad up on Craigslist to sell my couch, and have gotten several emails about it, so they might be coming by today.
Have a good day, FM.
You too. I’ll look later for your cafe.

Morning Kelly. Actually I like the sound of what you initially read.
Glad to hear about editing load cut in half. Good things come to those who procrastinate. OK sometimes. 🙂
