While we can only hope that a new Fitzmas is upon us, we can be certain that we have certain, inalienable rights that are still being infringed upon. Just because it was a scandal doesn’t mean they’ve stopped wiretapping without warrants. They most certainly haven’t, and I’d bet good money that they’re damn proud of it.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
