Kind of like my Patsy Cline collection… only on vinyl and languishes away, though I love her stuff.
We have cd versions of a good chunk of our vinyl but like you a lot of it has gone unheard for a long time.
I don’t know why, but it keeps calling up the same albums most of the time. I know I have a lot more in there than the one that keep coming up.

Tomorrow’s my sister’s birthday and my niece is in and my mom came down so we’ll go over there tomorrow night (this is the kind of family gathering that I do like).
The weather is pretty iffy for both Sat. and Sun. but I hope we’ll get to go biking. If not, the dogs will be happy since it means a long walk instead.

The nurses and doctor were very nice. I got to watch the whole thing on TV and the doctor gave a sort of guided tour through the whole thing. And the nurses held my hand and hugged me through it.
Just got back KB. So you were awake during this. I have 2 and have never been awake once.
I’d love to sleep through it. But I have a fear of being knocked out.
I used to have that same fear until my bypass surgey. After that, I said what the hell. I think if they started to do colonoscopy without the sleep, I would demand it. 🙂
Hope you are recovering nicely and being pampered.
I’m totally recovered. Didn’t let them knock me out. So the hardest part of the recovery was catching up on the sleep I lost last night.

How’s the mileage?
Another 30 miles today. I piddled around this morning and had some errands to run so I didn’t ride as far as I should’ve. The weather was perfect and I found a mile of fresh balcktop. I felt like just doing laps on that stretch of road, but I needed to end the ride.

“Paradise by the Dashboard Light” would have been a 3 hour opera in Italian if it had been written 400 years ago. Hmmm, maybe it was.
I’m not much into opera, but I guess Meatload has the stature for an opera singer.
But I like Meatload and think it describes him much more accurately.

You’re right! I love that song, but don’t know anyone else who likes it. I actually saw a whole show on VH1 about the making of that album, and it was pretty interesting. IIRC, the guy who wrote it was interested in making a play, and Meatloaf was from Broadway? Something like that — I was sick at the time, so the details are sort of fuzzy.

I’m tired! I met my friend and her 7-month old daughter for lunch. It was great, but I forgot how strong and squirmy babies are at that age! But it was worth it — she’s adorable.
Babies are great when you don’t have to change them and everything else. That’s the reason I’m so happy to see my great nieces and nephews now. I can always hand them back for a change. 🙂
