For the past couple of days, Political Cortex has been offline. I had seen a comment thread at Daily Kos with speculation as to why “the Cortex” was offline; I also did a Whois that showed the domain expired on 10-Jun-2006.
Through Colin Hill at ScoopHost, I got in touch with Tom Ball, the operator of Political Cortex. Both of them would like the world to know that the domain registration lapse was unintentional, Tom is working with his registration service, SiteGround, to resolve the registration lapse issues, and that Political Cortex expects to be back online within the next 48 hours.
