Some day I will learn to read down the thread first! 🙂 I see you’re still under the weather, so I’m sending you a get well umbrella to go with FM’s chicken soup.
I yam, thanks! But I may no longer be able to put off mowing. Deer are beginning to appear in my back yard. Environmentalists are clamoring to have it designated official tall grass prairie. Hunters want the quail. The miniature dachshund has disappeared.
I’m doing fine Kansas. Your lawn sounds like what I’ve been aspiring to attain for my lawn. However, I don’t know if I could put up with having George lost in the grass.
I guess between naps today I’ll have to go out and do mine also. 🙁
NO big plans for today. I am still a little bit under the weather so will stay home. I will work on my designsa nd things like that. Here is one I did this am.
This time of year staying cool is more like it. LOL Thank you. I am hoping it is just allergies but I have been running a fever so I am not taking any chances.
Well you take care of yourself. I know you’re probably wanting to start pinging of the walls doing things, but today you slack. We can’t have Refinish feeling bad.
Hi,Psi! refinish69 has gone to lie down and FM claims he has gone to mow and NOT lie down, but I see that mythmother has appeared and brought kittens with her. You know, maybe pooties are the answer to world peas. Every time the Cabinet meets, or Congress, or when world leaders hold a summit, they should each bring a few kittens to let loose on the table, along with balls of yarn. Who could possibly stay mad then?
Heh, pooties are always fun! PhillyGal over at dKos is queen of that, to say the least.
I’m doing okay. Going to feed myself, do some computer maintenance for my mother, and then get to blogging. Some folks over at the Orange Place didn’t seem to take too kindly to my last blog post. :/
Man, I always get here late! Wished I’d had a camera yesterday when I saw the doe with little twin fawns running through the pasture at the school farm. The babies still had their spots and baby fuzz-oooo too cute for words! I’ve seen a lot of deer in my life but this was the first time seeing ones that young.
Unfortunately the rest of the day was sucky. Then after 11 hours of work I came home last night and my eccentric housemate was entertaining his nearly-juvenile girlfriend and they had a gigglefest I could hear through earplugs and white noise machine. I finally got up around 2am and told them I was going to go lay my head on the train tracks if I had to listen any longer (I love drama). Why did I wait so long? They snuck out this morning which is good because I’m feeling really evil and liable to say stuff I’ll regret later.
Going for a hike on Mt. Hood with a local herbalist in a bit, figured the way things are going we’ll all be needing alternatives to Big Pharma.
Thanks for being here-I really needed to vent.
Just got back from the International Folk Art Market in Santa Fe. (Y’all should come next summer.)
What a feast for the eyes. The color. The desgin. The craftsmanship.
I bought a basket from a member of a woman’s coop from the Sudan. Couldn’t afford to also buy from the women’s needle craft coop of Afghanistan.
I couldn’t help but wonder what some of these artisans were thinking. Some looked like they were in complete shock as hordes of well-off Americans descended on their booths. I hope they all make a ton of money!
Oh Goddess…that is so sad and sounds so annoying. Poison Ivy really sucks. I am very allergic to cats and sometimes I will get horrid hives on my face and particularly around my eyes. It is exceedingly uncomfortable and itchy. I can so sympathize with the poor guy. To get it just before your trip is just so wrong. What a bummer.
Getting all pissed off about that Ductape stuff. MSOC has pointed out a turd in the punch bowl because nobody else wanted to and lots of people were drinking koolaid out of it…….sometimes it’s hard to do hard things. I was grocery shopping last night, and as has been shared in the past I really live in the heart of dixie and the very essence of redness itself. I was toodeling down the market rows and I look up and what does appear? A woman in full black burkha….the whole deal, only her eyes showing. I have heard burkha, burkha, burkha, burkha so much and my opinion is if a woman wants to wear one great and if she doesn’t and she is forced to so that nobody kills her that’s really sick, sad, and fucking evil…….but America and the burkha bad burkha bad burkha bad thing…..come on girls, I have risen from bed with one of those huge creases on the side of my forty year old face from sleeping on it wrong and thought to myself, “Fuck, if only I had a damn burkha!” For as much as the burkha has been “played” down here in the South I don’t think they know what one looks like because nobody even noticed her, or was whispering, or anything……so, just wake me when the fucking drama is over okay?!
Good morning everyone.
Morning!!!!
Feeling better, rf?
Some day I will learn to read down the thread first! 🙂 I see you’re still under the weather, so I’m sending you a get well umbrella to go with FM’s chicken soup.
Morning Kansas. Hope you’re doing well today.
I yam, thanks! But I may no longer be able to put off mowing. Deer are beginning to appear in my back yard. Environmentalists are clamoring to have it designated official tall grass prairie. Hunters want the quail. The miniature dachshund has disappeared.
You’re well, too, FM?

Thank you!!!!
Good moring all. I wonder if Andi and SN were up all night painting each others toe nails.
Not saying they had to stay up all night because they have big feet and it took all night to get that acreage of toe nails painted.
You’ll have to revise your image — neither one of us have ever put polish on our fingernails, let alone toenails.
But maybe we stayed up all night picking on The South™ and its inhabitants. 😉
Morning Andi. OK no paint on the toenails. Since your woods look like hobbit land, I wonder if hairy feet are involved. 🙂
Picking on the south huh. I won’t even go there. 😛
Happily for me, I’m not going there either.
Ta. See ya later.
Ya’ll enjoy Andi.
Morning Miss andi and have a great day!!!
I imagine the two of you more along the lines of painting Jim’s toenails. One of you per foot.
Morning FamilyMan!!!!
Morning Refinish. Big plans for today?
NO big plans for today. I am still a little bit under the weather so will stay home. I will work on my designsa nd things like that. Here is one I did this am.
Straight Ticket Democrat
I hope you get to feeling better soon.
I’ll channel a little bit of Andi’s Mom and say eat some chicken soup, stay warm and rest. 🙂
This time of year staying cool is more like it. LOL Thank you. I am hoping it is just allergies but I have been running a fever so I am not taking any chances.

I think I am going back for a nap and then will see what I feel like doing.
Good idea!
See ya later.
Painting toe nails? Sigh…women will be women…
So how is everyone doing this morning? 🙂

How you doin’, Psi?

Oh, dear. When I get a chance I’ll run over to the Orange and check it out.
Have a great green day, Psi.
I’m off to get ready for the day and maybe do the lawn.
Everybody have a good day in the pond.
Anyone around?
Oh, man, that is a load of cute for a Saturday!
See my comment to PsiFighter above if you want to know how I think you have discovered the secret to establishing world peace. Nice work, mm!
Now I must be off to fuel my body for mowing. uh huh.

CBtY woke me up at 3 AM because he has poison ivy…all around his eyes. So we’re here at home instead of at the Blues Fest this weekend.
Sigh.
