Take a 4 along with you
Morning Andi. Ready for another big day?
Do I have a choice? At least this beige day will end with a trip home.
That’s great. I’m glad to hear it.
When is SN supposed to be home, or is she already?
I am sure the family back home will be thrilled to have you back!!!
Sniff, Giddy, Hopey, and I will all be glad.
I bet!!!! Did the dogs find a nice new gift for mom?
Good mornin’ ye olde folk! 😛
Morning Psi. I didn’t get a chance to ask yesterday, but how’s the computer doing today?
Eh, it crashed about 4 times in the 3 hours I was awake once I got home.
I’ve basically resigned myself to the fact that I’m going to have to probably build a new computer…which sucks, as I didn’t want to spend any more money on this right now.
In Dec. that happened to me. I went out and got another one, but I didn’t have a back up system, so I lost a lot of stuff. AARRGGGG.
If all else fails start slamming you hand down on it and maybe it will jiggle a piece back into place. If that fails, at least you get to take some frustration out on the computer. 🙂
Heh…yeah, that would be fun. Take out the anger on it, Office Space-style.
I have all my stuff already backed up; everything on my computer presently is the minimal amount needed to function at this point. Nevertheless, I’m going to need to figure out what to do soon.
and bummer (as we used to say eons ago in my youth).
Great news!!!! I went to the dermatologist and it turns out the spot I was so worried about is only a bruise. LOL I have never ahd a bruise this color before but he said it was probably the dogs that scraped and bruised the arm at the same time. I will still wear my sunblock everyday and make sure I do not have another scare like this. I wanted to thanks all of you for your kind words and support during my stressed out week.
I’m so happy to hear that Refinish. With your sunblock, don’t forget your hat too.
Thanks!!!! I will have to buy a hat as I hate them but I am using sunblock as my hair gel now as my hair is buzzed. LOL
I haven’t worn a hat in a long time, but I think it’s the type of hat and the way you sit it on your head that makes it look cool or not. For some reason I can see you in this hat.
ROTFLMAO!!!! I look like a total goof ball in a hat.
I was thinking that Andi needs a hat for her job.
What about.
Or this.
Or just that old thing she wears around the house.
Here is a link to a perfect shirt for Andi. LOL
Your Highness Will Suffice
I would show the shirt but don’t have the link for that tool at work. LOL
Sorry you had to do all that worrying but ecstatic that everything is fine!
Thank you!!!!!
Oh I am so happy to hear that!
Those Diva Dogs better stop beating you up, though!
Thank you!!!! They are contrite as can be. LOL
Yeah!
I’m sure that the Diva Dogs feel bad for scaring you and have promised to treat you more gently from now on.
Thank you Jim!!! Actually I am buying them new toys to chew on instead of me on the way home. LOL
That’s great news refinish!!!
Thank you Olivia!!!!
Great news!
Thank you!!!!
That’s great Refinish. I’m really pleased for you.
Thank you!!!!!
That’s fantastic news, Refinish! I had a secret feeling that’s all it was, since mysterious bruises often do seem very disquieting when you can’t figure out how you got them! I’m so happy to hear that it turned out to be “nothing,” and that you can put your mind at ease now and go back to your usual delightful self…
I still think you should get a cowboy hat for reasons expressed the other day … just think how you could personalize a basic cowboy hat! Just a hint, my friend…
Hope you have a great celebratory weekend and take it easy and have fun w/the diva dogs! Again, wonderful to hear your good news … now I’ve popped in, and have to get back to work if I intend to get out of here an hour early today (so we can finally go see Inconvenient Truth before it leaves town…
I’ve got a lot to do today because family will be here this weekend. See ya’ll later.
Everyone have a good day in the pond.
Good morning all. Hopefully soon my </poison ivy>
Good luck. CBtY is finally out of the intense itching stage…a week after it started.
Glad to hear that. All this rain has made the stuff rampant.
Between that and the tick population, I almost don’t want to go outside.
The boran2 boy had a tick last summer. I really freaked when I found it on his neck when he woke up.
Just a hit and run. I got half the front yard done, before something happened to the lawnmower. I guess I’ll start a trend by cutting only half of the front yard at a time.
Snake – 0
FM – 1
After the last great snake scare of early summer, I haven’t been out to the pond to weedwack. While weedwacking a snake slithers out of the grass and looks up at me, I look down at it and we both run. Well the snake slithered. Anyway, I made myself go back and did the whole side of the bank and not one snake. Plenty of sticks in the grass made me jump, but no snakes.
Now on to figure out what’s wrong with the lawnmower before we hit 100 F.
Have a good day in the pond.
Read your b-entry this morning and laughed out loud. Thanks for the early morning chuckle, FM.
Today’s mystery vocabulary item is: pamplemousse. And no, it has nothing to do with dessert or hair care products.
Hope to catch some of you later tonight in the FBL if I can make it… I’m lobbying (since it’s C’s day off) that we go see Inconvenient Truth before it leaves town (been here a month now). We watched March of the Penguins last night and it was quite entertaining and informative, even if it is a “doctored documentary.” Well worth the 75 min of your time, I’d say!
Ciao for now, FM and all the rest of youse folks!
Happy Hour!
