What building is he planning?
IS Mr. Pence talking about building a new Veterans Hospital to care for the soldiers coming back from Iraq? Is Mr. Pence talking about building a new low cost University since college costs have gone up 40% since 2001 and now 200,000 students have been `priced out of higher education’? What kind of building could he be talking about?
He is talking about the Gay Marriage amendment actually, as anyone that has read the linked story already knows. He is talking about a building of yet more division within this country. I have gay family members and I do not like them being used as political fodder. They are loving, hard working, honest, beautiful people.

He is on his way home right now from an event, he has two tomorrow, and he is in front of people shaking hands and winning the votes of people every day and every night.
He is the opposite of Mr. Pence. He is Barry Welsh and he is trying to make a difference. Someday soon, someone else of importance is going to take note of what he is doing and the difference he is making. Russ Feingold already has in naming him a Progressive Patriot. It just makes me mad that it hasn’t happened yet. He just keeps going and going, and says he can’t win people in Washington, but he can win the election in this district.
He makes the fundraising calls and people say “If the National Party isn’t supporting you, you must not be much of a candidate.” I see the hurt when he hears that, but he keeps going, and telling me “dollars don’t vote, people do, and there will be enough money there to do what we need to do.”
There is a man that is proud of building a foundation of division and hate, and there is my husband. I know which I choose, but what is America waiting for?
