Have you gotten dozens of invites to parties on July 29th? The Democratic Party is urging local activists and groups to set up “Democratic Reunion” events so we can all touch base, share some camaraderie (and likely alcohol as well) and get ready for the last 100 days.
My favorite event description is one being held in Burbank…
…called “Pin the tale on the Elephant.” The organizer said people would write out their “tales” of woe and then stick it to the elephant. 😉 Of course, when I heard the world “tales” I was thinking more of “tall tales”, i.e., lies of the Bush administration.
