Though the country of Indonesian is officially run by a President who’s called SBY for short, together with Kalla as vice-president, if you would live in Indonesia you would see that the country is run by no one.
Total anarchy reigns, and in my diary I will show you many examples, that might shock you at times.
Since the West (Europe) as well as the USA think that this President is doing so great, it is about time that the Indonesian masks are taken off, and people will hear about the dangers that Indonesia brings into the rest of the world.
There are so many things to mention that I would love to spit it all out in just one entry. Of course, that wouldn’t do any good, and it would be as if the fog from the burning tropical forests of Indonesia was spreading through the internet.
So, to wake you up and get you interested, just give away a few topics that might interest you.
Coming up: US arms sales to Indonesia, Indonesia’s official declaration of war with Israel, the farce of Indonesian justice, the disappearing Tsunami and Earthquake funds, Indonesian police filling their pockets and the non-existing rights of Americans in Indonesia.
Welcome to BT, perelandra.
(Head over to the “Froggy Bottom Cafe under “Recent Diarues” in the early morning US-EDT time zone – we’re 11 hrs after you – and introduce yourself. We’re always happy to welcome a new member.)
There is only marginal coverage of Indonesian issues in the US media. Unless it relates to something around to the “War on Terror”, it’s unlikely to be mentioned. Tsunami is long forgotten.
Looking forward to your coverage of the issues you mention in your last paragraph.
Like ask, let me also welcome you to BT, perelandra. I would also be interested to hear about the issues you listed. I’ve had a long interest in Indonesia but cannot claim to be up-to-date on developments in your country.
