Ok, so there are a million stars out and it’s silent except for the crickets – but generally speaking I could do without these early morning awakenings. There’s something not so right about being able to actually hear your dog’s pee running along the hardpacked dirt of the backyard.
A hearty left coast/Cascadia good morning to y’all! Working on the minutes of our last safety committee meeting here at work. People sure have some interesting accidents.
How is everyone today? I’m looking forward to a long, grueling day of job hunting, which I will lose interest in in about 45 minutes and return to slacking.
Well, I looked at the King County job postings and now I’m all tuckered out. It was longer than 10 minutes but I managed to finish up before lunchtime.
Today’s tea of choice: Assam Silver Needles, a white as I’m trying to decaffeinate now that the book’s done and in the mail and my grandmother’s coming home from the hospital.
Hope y’all are having a happy frog day. I’m currently sitting out on the back porch listening to a gentle rainfall and providing a warm seat for one of the kitties while I wait for the phone call to go collect my grandmother.
Hi Kelly. Glad to hear your Grandmother is coming home and the book is off. Sounds at the moment like you have a very peaceful setting on the back porch.
Finally straggling in here…spouse let me sleep in today. 🙂 And since neither of us have had anything to eat, we’re finally going to hit the lab and get our bloodwork done (we both have follow-up doctor’s appointments next Tuesday). Just waiting for him to get out of the shower then we’ll be on the road.
Not much else going on otherwise; doing a few errands, hitting the soup/salad place for dinner tonight.
Looks like everyone’s having a great day…hope it keeps that way…

you could have a soaked malamutt dripping across the floor.
Good morning (or would you prefer I left off the good).
Morning, Andi. I want you all to know that as soon as the boy and the Mr. leave for school and work, I’m back in bed.
I’m sure the puppy will love that. LOL
Snuggling with cats and a dog.
ROTFLMAO!!!! Better than stepping in it when you go to make coffee.
That is true. Leave it to you to see the bright side of things. 🙂
I try my best. LOL
Are you going to work today?
Oh yes. I have no choice. The back is much better and I have to go. LOL
I hope you have a nice, comfy chair. Take it easy.
Thanks Miss Andi!!! I have a special chair at work and will only do what I have to today. LOL
Good morning to everyone in the pond.
How ya feeling?
Morning Olivia. I’m feeling better. How did your weekend go and how is Monday starting for you?
I was just over at IVG’s b, reading about Sphinx moths … Fascinating things!
I’m glad to hear that you’re feeling better.
The w/e was too short, but otherwise a very slackerly affair — you’d approve I’m sure. 🙂
How about your week?
Yeah I was over at IVG’s place too. He does make things so interesting.
You know anytime it’s slackerly, I approve. 🙂
This week is starting out slow, or rather late for me. I’ll be glad to get back into my routine.
Don’t want to take on too much all at once … how’s the back?
Olivia have you ever known me to take on too much at all. 🙂
The back is about the same. I can see it’s going to take awhile with this. How I was so looking forward to doing the lawn this week.
I’ve got to get something together for breakfast. I’ll check back in a little while.
Enjoy.
See ya later … 🙂

well since i’m well past the coffee and breakfast portion of the day, figured i’d say hey to everybody while i had the moment
Hi CBS. Haven’t seen you in awhile. Good to see you dropping by.
Hello Soup. I used to hate to do safety minutes, but you’re right, people do have interesting accidents.
How is everyone today? I’m looking forward to a long, grueling day of job hunting, which I will lose interest in in about 45 minutes and return to slacking.
Hi Omir. 45 minutes seems a pretty long time. To have a slackerly day, you would have to drop it down to about 10 minutes.
Well, I looked at the King County job postings and now I’m all tuckered out. It was longer than 10 minutes but I managed to finish up before lunchtime.
Good for you Omir. It’s the effort that counts.
Well it’s really the money that counts, but the effort goes a long way. 🙂

Good luck with the vampires, Cali! 🙂
