Olivia… regarding sucking air. :O) yeah it sucks when the team doesn’t show up. But it’s like that in the summer I guess. AND several of the players are firemen/emt dudes so they’ve been gone alot here.
They are BEGGING him to stay on the team. They gave him a fantastic birthday party last week. 🙂

I think I saw it on TV a long time ago. You have to remember since I’ve known ya’ll I’m just starting to watch hockey. Well the Stanley Cup at least. 🙂
Then you didn’t really see it because TV would cut out all the swearing, sex and other good parts.

I remember Keith mentioning on air that he was returning to New York on Monday, so I was prepared for a sub. Was surprised to see Allison though; not often she pulls double duty these days now she’s got her own show. Brian Unger is getting a tad bit better, I must admit…Friday’s show was pretty good.
Wonder if Keith wishes he’d been there yesterday to give the smackdown to the MSM (including his own network) for the John Mark Karr overkill. Of course, he could do a final post-mortem on the coverage, especially with it potentially overshadowing the Katrina anniversary…

as I said, they’re not that frequent — definitely not as bad as they used to be a few years back. Probably some sort of stress reaction.
Spouse and I just decided to forgo our SoCal trip this weekend; we’re out the money we spent to book it, but we’ve got too damn much to do around here, especially if he goes back to work shortly as it looks very likely. 🙂 If we can get some work done, we can do some local fun stuff over the weekend; there’s the Tapestry Arts Festival in San Jose, usually a fun time. 🙂

Hello ask. Get home and relax.
Did catch about 6 hours sleep (from 7am to 1pm) so I’m good for the rest of the day. As much as I hate to do it, I’ve gotta start taking the OTC sleep stuff I’ve got if I’m not tired by about 10 or 11pm; it’s the only way I can think to get myself back on a “normal” pattern. As long as the “grey nights” are infrequent, I’m not too worried.
A bit of a lost day — might at least try to get something done around here…

I’m trying to understand the game, I really am, but something just isn’t clicking so far.
I had to see it in person to catch on to it.
My first game was back in 1989. Seattle T-Birds and then it all clicked and now I can see it on tv.

FM — come out to sunny California this fall; I’ll take you out to the Shark Tank. Saw my first hockey game in person during the Sharks’ first season (1991-92), then didn’t get to another game till this past season — I went from a hockey fan to a Hockey Fan. 🙂
Wish I could Cali. You know I think they have hockey teams around here. I think Tupelo, MS has one and maybe Memphis and maybe Atlanta. Not sure about Birmingham, but I think they have an ice rink.
I have skated before, years ago when I was in Europe.
