Hi CG. She’s sleeping right now, but the hard part begins soon when I have to get her up and ready for the doctor.
She was saying last night that she didn’t feel like going and for me to take the x-rays over to the family doctor. I told her he would want to see her. She kept grumbling about it, but she’s almost out of her pain medicine and I know she’ll be more than ready to go once that’s gone.
I read about the ordeals of getting ready for school. That camp is looking better and better all the time, isn’t it. 🙂
She only pooped once in the house, and it’s waaay easier to clean up than pee. She’s doing well, though still very wild in the evenings. She gets disgruntled when no one wants to play with her for more than a few minutes.
I expect we all will – I believe most people when they get into their 80s have decided there’s nothing left that anyone or anything can really do to them so they may as well do what they want.
I think you’re right. My 99 y.o. Great Aunt told me once the older she got the meaner she got. I made a joke and told her, nah she was always mean. Didn’t go over too well. 🙂
I’ve been watching CNN’s minute by minute coverage of the WTC attacks as it happened 5 years ago on the CNN website. I cannot say how much I miss Aaron Brown.
to Andi, Refinish, CG, FM, SN, and various lurkers.
Today’s tea, a slightly weak Empire Keemun. Dr.Mc didn’t have time to let it steep as long as it should have. She appolgized about that, which I thought was both very sweet and a little silly, since it’s warm, it’s caffeinated, and I didn’t have to make it myself. I couldn’t imagine complainging under the circumstances.
Today it’s cold and gloomy here, which seems just about right considering. Now I’m off to write. Got a good bit of stuff that needs doing before Thursday. Hope everyone has a good day.
Morning Miss Andi!!!!
I’m guessing you’ve been up for awhile.
And you would be right. I ahve done some laundry and am now reading the blogs. I woke up at 3 am. LOL
Ugh — bad enough to wake up so early but to do laundry too.
I’d rather do laundry than deal with my surly CBtE in the morning. Whining about his wardrobe, his lunch, you name it. Ick.
I will be happy-dancing back to bed the minute they’re on the bus.
back to bed? what about your walk?
Okay, I had my 15 minutes in bed, now I’m getting ymself together for a walk. Are you heading out too?
but now I’m back. It was cool, quiet and very misty. Hope your walk was good, too.
I’m back now too. Looks like we’re having similar weather this morning, although the sun is peeking out here now.
Remembering 09/11
I have to head out to work. I hope everyone has a great day!!!
Good Mornig Andi, Refinish and CG.
Hi FM. How’s FMom doing?
Hi CG. She’s sleeping right now, but the hard part begins soon when I have to get her up and ready for the doctor.

Hopefully it will get better after we get back into the routine. Hopefully.
Spoken like a true optimist or someone pleading with the nature of things. 🙂
Morning FM and everyone. Strange day – feeling lots of things, mostly bad.
Morning SN. Sorry to hear you’re feeling that way. I hope it’s not a premonition of things to come.
Nah – it’s the Sept. 11th anniversary that feels weird. Plus, I can’t believe it’s been 5 years. The obvious passage of time always freaks me out.
Yes it is hard to believe it was that long ago. It’s still very vivid in my mind.
So how was poopy patrol this morning. Find any surprises in the house. 🙂
She only pooped once in the house, and it’s waaay easier to clean up than pee. She’s doing well, though still very wild in the evenings. She gets disgruntled when no one wants to play with her for more than a few minutes.
That’s the reason you need to get a couple of more dogs. She would have playmates and you would, well you would….
Better not. 🙂
Sorry about the feeling bad, SN but it’s certainly a reasonable response to the day. I’m leaving the radio and tv off all day.
Hey, FM, you are good son as always — glad you are making sure Family Mom takes get the care she needs.
Morning Andi. Beautiful picture!
With FMom you never know. I keep wondering if I’ll be that damn stubborn when I’m her age. 🙂
Too bad for me though that I can’t do what I want — off to work.
See ya later.
Yep I’ve got to get started too. It will be a long day.
Everybody have a good day in the pond.
