     Yes, the best older cartoon.  (I secretly desire to frolic in Frostbite Falls.)

     Best newer cartoons:  Kappa Mikey, Spongebob

     And I still love the Rugrats.

   And South Park, which I won’t even bother linking to. Am completely done with the Simpsons, never liked Family Guy, and despise American Dad. But I do badly miss The Brak Show… 🙁

   I also have comcast.  Few months back, everything died, except for my computer.  When I called comcast, they gave me the usual, “It’s not us, its your computer.”  I had to tell the tech who took the call that it wasn’t my computer, it was either the modem or the network.  Tech then told me the network was down in another township.   (Not even a mile away from me.) I asked if that could effect parts of this township.  Dead silence on the other end of the line.  I said, “Hey, did we get cut off?”  Tech then told me to apply for a job w/comcast.

   Loved all the original Looney Tune characters. Sylvester used to get in sooo many jams as well as look and sound so pathetic, I guess I’m kind of partial to him. Don’t remember the name of the toon, but the one where he tries to teach his kid how to kill a mouse, only to be done in by a kangaroo he thinks is a GIANT MOUSE is one I still chuckle at.

   Captain Kangaroo’s Tom Terrific.  I only caught it in the reruns, not the original run from 57-59, but CK played the whole series over in the mid-sixties.  It was a regular feature then and I couldn’t wait for each episode to air.

   

   Crabby Appleton was my favorite villain in this cartoon series.

   …the villainous Crabby Appleton sang a song that I will always remember and it went like this : ‘My name is Crabby Appleton, I’m rotten to the core
   I do a bad deed every day, and sometimes three or four
   I can’t stand fun for anyone, I think good deeds are sappy, I laugh with glee, it pleases me, when everyone’s unhappy!’

    on what turned out to be a fool’s errand (loooong story), so don’t know if our cable was out or not. AFAIK, haven’t had any problems since early spring — and that turned out to be a squirrel getting into the apartment complex’s switching box and munching through a cable; it was back within a couple of hours.

    I’ve actually been quite pleased with the local Comcast; now I’ve just gotta find out if/when we’re getting NFL Network…
