Jeremiah was a BullFrog
was a good friend of mine
never understood a single word he said
but I helped him drink his wine
and he always had some mighty fine wine
I spent most of the day kind of out of it. I had my eyes dilated for some retinal pictures this morning and it’s only been in the last couple of hours that they’ve started functioning normally again.
For me it usually takes whatever period includes a weekend. That’s why I usually try to come back from any vacation on a Wednesday or Thursday. This sucks coming back on a Monday 🙂
You select some photos that you’d like to show us all, upload them, copy the links for the photos into an html template, and voila! of course, there’s help along the way for each of those steps. The important part is the photos … 🙂 So if you get copies of your Italy photos, you could do a photodiary of your trip! Each photo (max 10) is entered as a comment (sort of like the news bucket), and then people can comment on each photo individually.
I don’t think the (maybe) 10 photos I took in Italy would make a very interesting photo diary. And I don’t think it would be fair to use the photos I’m stealing from the others.
Of course I did take a lot of shoe pictures for Izzy … 🙂
I think I’ll just let you photographers post your diaries and I’ll enjoy them.
I’m alright. Watched some of The Daily Show and Colbert Report tonight, so I’m a little behind. About to print out my case study report for one class, and then I need to read for another class tomorrow. I’m hoping I can be asleep not too long after 1 AM.
Good evening dear ones
I’m in the kitchen on the laptop. My housemate decided that taking hallucinogenic herbs and making pickles would help him get over his broken heart so I’m keeping an eye on him-he’s in about the 11th hour of it, not doing too badly and the pickles certainly look fine.
He made dill pickles-he’s actually pretty good at canning. He’s talking to friends on the phone now and seems to be OK enough, it’s not like he’s gonna burn the house down, just some strange energy. We went up to his garden earlier and pulled up potatoes and he visited his friends around the corner too.
I’m reminding myself that I always say that I don’t mind drama and I like unusual people. Never a dull moment in this house.
I had a good day. Some exercise, some son, some ggod food, talked to family and old friends, some drinks. My only complaints. I was feasted on my mosquitos and I have back spasms that would make the Incredible Hulk wince.
A clean place relax in. Or whine – whichever you need.

Cheeky little devil.
A second Lounge, eh? You folks must’ve been busy while I was working. 🙂
How are we doing tonight?

DOES THAT MEAN WE NEED TO TALK BIGGER?
Or should I say,
as maryb suggests. 🙂
I finally get to the end of the day — and now I’m not tired any more. Go figure.
How was the first day back for you today?
The morning wasn’t bad because I was mostly going through e-mails and snail mail and returning phone calls. The afternoon though … ugh.
Did I hear you were on vacation last week too?
complete w/ ugh.
Yeah, I was off last week … bliss.
I spent the morning going through my e/m and messages too … I think I need another vacation … 😉
Did you go anywhere last week?
Just day trips and lots of doing nothing … it was a much needed rest vacation.
How long do you think it’s going to take you to get back into your normal routine?
For me it usually takes whatever period includes a weekend. That’s why I usually try to come back from any vacation on a Wednesday or Thursday. This sucks coming back on a Monday 🙂
I like your blue flower.
Ah well, you were in Italy so you can’t complain … 😉
So are you going to submit a diary to the photofair this year?
I shouldn’t complain 🙂
I wasn’t around here for last year’s photofair — how does it work?
(From the title I assume it involves posting photos so I’m thinking it is unlikely that I could come up with something appropriate.)

what to do with my shoe pictures. Next weekend I’ll pick a few Italy photos and post them.
The problem I have with photos is that I can see the real thing clearly in my mind — and the photo never does it justice. 🙁
but remember that we haven’t, so we’ll be blown away … and of course we’re just as interested in your description and stories … 🙂
I was channeling Andi … 🙂
in-person camera help. Like … maybe … I don’t know …. from you and Jim. In Chicago. Yeah. 🙂
I’ll leave you to ponder all the camera help I need
poor me <sigh> 🙂
Hey Mary! How ya doing?
Hi PF37. I’m good. You?
I’m alright. Watched some of The Daily Show and Colbert Report tonight, so I’m a little behind. About to print out my case study report for one class, and then I need to read for another class tomorrow. I’m hoping I can be asleep not too long after 1 AM.
The break was good for you 😉
Always factor breaks into your schedule. It keeps you sharper.
Well, I spoke too soon. I just looked at all of my syllabi for my classes and nearly shat myself.
I have a ton of work I have to do this week. Sleeping time for me has been pushed back to 4 or 5 AM now.
🙁

Is he pickling cucumbers or okra or something else (or just himself 🙂 )
I have to say this IS one of the stranger situations anyone has brought up in the cafe 😉
I don’t think I’ve read a stranger one … and considering it’s the cafe, that’s saying something 😉

All in all. A good birthday.
And the Eagles still suck 😉
Sounds like you need a good massage. It’s your birthday — can’t you get anyone to give you one? 🙂
(I’d offer but Supersoling stole all the lotion long ago)
Sleeping people just can’t apply enough pressure.
I need a spine transplant, kind of like some Dems I know.
poor birthday boy 🙁
maybe you should consider acupuncture. not right now, of course
