I didn’t see a diary about this and want to make sure that everyone knows about this planned nationwide demonstration to confront the bush-fascists.

In addition, here’s the link to the webpage for The World Can’t Wait where you can find additional links to locations where protest events are being held today. Hopefully one of them is in your town.
Thank you MythMother,
I hate to say this, but there’s no possibility of me making this. It’s the second major protest in a month that I’ve had to miss. I’m hoping that you and SusanW and DamnitJanet can all make it, and maybe yell a little louder to make up for those of us who can’t :o)
Peace
In Spirit, for our country
Thanks, Myth Mother.
I’m going to the one in Santa Fe and I’m going to wear my Booman Tribune shirt.
I received the email yesterday(last evening actually) from World Can’t Wait. The problem with these protest actions is that let people know too late. I can always arrange to close the office if I know a few days in advance. I know they have to apply for permits etc ahead of time so why not people know once they secure the permit? I am truly disappointed. but will be there right next to Super in spirit.
I am in the same boat as the others. I, however, am not being with you all in body, but in spirit, I am always beside you and all the rest of Americans who want this change. It truly is up to us to make this change. Bravo, you brave and true Americans.
I’ll probably be flamed out of existence, but why can’t people realize that World Can’t Wait. along with other front groups like Not In Our Name, are all shadow organizations made up by agitators — that is, Bob Avakian’s clones — from the Revolutionary Communist Party?
Don;t believe me? Read this.
thanks for the info.
The way I see it, the piece that has been missing is mass civil disobedience to the actions of BushCo. That’s starting to happen now, and has been ongoing for many members of this site, so this whole Solidarity thing for today with WCW flows from that. Regardless of any front organizations, there are protestors in the street and that makes me very happy.
Thanks everyone for your comments and responses. Obviously I couldn’t make it either due to ongoing health considerations, but the demonstration in LA was huge with a great opening speech by Ed Asner, which I heard parts of on KPFK.
Also thanks to Steven D for promotion and edits, I can’t do much on the keyboards these days. Much appreciated.
