Just like Andi, I’ve been inspired by Olivia to see this area in a different way and with the aid of my Nikon D70 and the encourangement of the dogs (yay! let’s go for a walk), I’ve been trying to document what I’ve seen.
I shot this one a couple of different ways. This was my favorite. I also shot it with the polarizing filter blocking out the reflection. It is a very green picture that way. I thought about turning it into a black and white picture but never got around to it.
I really like this one. It’s so simple — just one flower — and yet there’s so much to look at. The droplets seem almost artistically placed. It must have taken you HOURS to get them right 🙂
Very nice, though the duckweed one gave me the heebie-jeebies. 🙂 Reminds me of a rash I had as a kid…I get the same way when I see clouds like that. Everyone thinks I’m a freak about that.

I see a face in this tree. If you do too, maybe I can make a lot of money on Ebay.
Looks rather owlish, doesn’t it? An Ent, perhaps?
I think it’s the big owlish eyes.

Both Andi and I like to take pictures of the camp’s lake which seems to look especially fine in fall.
Very painterly, Jim
The whole scene seems to have a veil of softness, protecting it from being disturbed. A beautiful mood photo.

Duckweed and grass and morning light.
Very cool!
I’ve been looking at duckweed for years. I just saw its photographic interest this summer.
I really like the lighting in this one. Nice!

Early morning on a somewhat cold and cloudy day meant the overnight frost was still around.

And picking out which petal to put the 3 holes in, I must have ruined a hundred daisies until I got it just right.

There was something very appealing about those almost perfect serrated edges.
Gotta wander Indiana! Love your photos.
There are plenty of places in Indiana to wander.
Thanks.
As much as I am a city person, these make me want to travel in the country!!!! That is doing a lot trust me. LOL
Take the Diva Dogs out with you and run wild.

Sorry for the heebie-jeebies.
