Thanks Steven! I have to give our photo tour guide the credit for the shot. She stated that we should think outside the box and this was my results! I love this photo as well!
Verra nice! My sister lives nearby and has been there since ’02. She’s never been to the Eiffel Tower. I’m going to show her this pic when she gets out here to motivate her.
This is cruel and unusual punishment…I want to go to Paris soooooooooo bad and I know I’ll never get there and your gorgeous photos remind me of what I am missing.
Well chocolate, I can tell you that it is as lovely and amzing as I could have imagined. I want to go back in the near future so I can take more photos. I will think positive thoughts and pray that you get the opportunity to visit Paris because it would mean so much to you, that means the trip would be something special and I want you to experience that. I also have my fingers crossed for additional luck!! Thanks for your kind words!
Seeing this historical cathedral at night inspired me to try my hand at night photography.

despite the fact that it’s filled with tourists and you have to watch out for pickpockets, Notre Dame is one of my favorite places in the world.
The night scene tends to eliminate the people and focus on the beautiful moment. Thanks!
I saw this man performing his gardening duties at Giverny and it was so peaceful and quiet.

These daisies in the Giverny were simply too beautiful to resist.

I was learning how to capture light streaks at night and it was my first attempt with relative success.

The gardens at Giverny were beautiful and it was so hard to choose which flower to take a photo of.

Seeing the Parisian fountains at night is truly a special sight. The sculpture looked so stately and I just tried to capture the moment.

I was not sure what kind of flower it was, but I decided to take the photo and try to figure out the rest later.

I know!
It’s a pink flower!
</end channeling my daughter>
You got it, fabooj! Good Job LOL!!!
I wanted to capture the colors and size of the Eiffel Tower without taking a photo of the entire tower.

I’ve never been there but you’ve given me a good idea of its scale. The night colors are wonderful.
It had just rained, so we were very fortunate to capture the dusk sky with all of the color.
That’s creative, making the Eiffel tower into a proscenium arch in effect.
Nice work
