I sometimes think I’m the designated killer of coffee carts. Hope y’all are having a good day. I’ll stop in once in a while, but it’s mostly a revisions day for me.
KMc, not today you’re not! Think everyone’s tired from the f0fA-it shore was phun!
Frost this morning in some parts of town-our first. Had a pumpkin carving party and there are about 25 (haven’t counted) works of art on the front porch. Must get more candles…
The fOtofair, both posting and viewing has been a bit exhausting, but very worth the effort.
Imogen’s back home from whipping the Australian Greens Party into shape at the national conference, and we’re finally getting some rain (though mostly as drizzle this morning).
My day includes dentistry, digging, laundry, and grocery shopping. Oh, and some work on the magazine. So I won’t exactly be getting some much needed down time yet.
Last Sunday I finally finished all the copper plumbing and hooking up the water tank, pump, etc. at the b-i-l’s house. Only one joint failed the pressure test. I’m going back in a few days to replace that tee-joint and connect the pvc for the waste water. After that, it’s mostly a matter of helping them when they install the fixtures.
I probably saved them about two thousand dollars, so despite the hassle, it was worth the effort. Still, I’ll be very glad to have it behind me, especially the three hour round-trip commute each time.
I’m hardly Wonder Woman. At this point the digging portion is looking like it will have to happen later in the week (damn rabbit has been getting into the veggie garden, and the fence has to be trenched [a wild rabbit, not Albert]). And the rest, well they’re just daily grind and maintainance work that most women do.
Plus, “driving hither and yon on frustrating errands” is far more exhausting than boring but descrete and do-able tasks.
It’s sunny and clear and heading up to 76 degrees. I’m still making my way through everyone’s photos from the fotofair!
Wow, a heat wave! I’m still working my way through the pics too.
I’ve got some more to see too, when I get home and the photos aren’t blocked by my evil overlords.
What a cute puppy!!!!!! I have a long way to go before I make it through all the photos. I will try and do that this week some time.

I decided I should stop slacking off on hosting duties and clear the coffee cart before the cream cheese spoiled.
I just happen to sign about the time the transition often happens. And, yeah, the chees was looking pretty bad when i got there.

I’m rarely first at any of them, late riser that I am, but I do get the last word in with some regularity.
Ribbitt!
Nice to see you (symbolically speaking of course) peeping in the FBC.
So with your CTS, does typing LOL mean that it only hurts when you laugh?
(All teasing aside, I hope it is getting better.)
And that’s the ticket to solving the pishing problem — only let her drink when she’s outside. 🙂
Halloooo from Tuesday morning.

Gosh, you put me to shame. I”m feeling exhausted from driving hither and yon all day on frustrating errands. Your Wonder Woman routine would kill me.
Going to open a lounge in a sec.
