Stop staring at those poll numbers!

What about the day AFTER the election?
Stop gazing fixedly at poll numbers!
We need to be thinking in advance about:

1. Whatever the polls say, the Republicans have already taken steps to suppress voter turnout. If it starts to look (anywhere, in any precinct or district) like a repeat of past national elections, what’s the plan to stop them?
2. More likely, the Republicans will falsely claim that the Democrats stole the election. What will be the correct way to counter this?
3. Suppose the Democrats win and phony Republican claims of fraud fall flat. Then what? Press for immediate withdrawal from Iraq? For impeachment? Something else?
