Hey, what’s going on? The Giants actually won today. And LaDainian Tomlinson set the record for touchdowns in a season (with three weeks to spare). It looks like a Bears/Chargers Super Bowl is in the making.

It isn’t like it’s hockey or soccer dude.
There are few teams less equipped to attack San Diego’s major weakness (a horrible secondary) than the Bears. None of my favorite sports teams have ever won a pro championship, hopefully the Chargers will change that in a few months.
Awww, that’s sweet. Thank you.
since they’re the only California pro football team that doesn’t suck…besides, San Diego’s a nice town (albeit a bit red for my tastes); my niece and her husband are in Santee.
At least I’m still leading my hockey pool (barely)… 🙂
Here`s another stupid one by George Will. I`ve noticed that, of late, blaming the Iraqi`s for their country being ripped apart, & the death of thousands, is bandied about, to the point where it`s become reality for some. Jeeezus.

all these right-wing talking heads are talking like the Iraqis are a bunch of ignorant idiots…forgetting the fact that it’s the United States’ fault that the country’s going to hell in a handbasket…
I might watch professional sports if women were playing-what a buncha cavemen!
Bad week for a bye in my FF league…had the best record, and today’s the first week of playoffs, so I got a bye. But I would’ve racked up the points if I had been playing…LT scored a bunch, as usual, and my other RB (Tatum Bell) racked up some yards, and all my WRs had 100+ yard days with touchdowns. Oh well, hopefully they play well next week when I need it…
For some reason, I can’t see the Bears making it with a turnover factory at QB. I’m going with the winner of the Saints/Cowboys game today (it’s 21-7 at halftime, Saints) for the NFC.
As for the AFC, I think the Ravens might be peaking at the right time, and their defense could wreak havoc on a young quarterback.
Saints are absolutely picking apart the Dallas D today. Romo looks a bit off-kilter today…I’m sure Payton’s existing knowledge has something to do with it. Nevertheless, if Brees keeps gunning it out with impunity, Dallas won’t be able to catch up.
I don’t have the time to diary about this topic, but as a health care provider, I deal with patients on antidepressants all the time. Here’s some frightening information about how pharmaceutical companies operate, how their profits come before people, all the time.
This is something we should all be aware of, as more and more Americans blame themselves for their pressures and neuroses, not their capitalist-at-all-cost society gone wild.
