Hi boran2; didn’t want you to feel lonely. Its a soggy evening in southern Indiana, but it certainly beats having an ice storm. FM must have gone off to one of his many daily naps.
I wouldn’t mind a little white stuff this weekend for atmosphere, but I hate to see the snowplow drivers have to work OT away from their families. Its very hilly here and their job can be really hazardous sometimes.
You know, it does seem a little warm for this time of year. The only ski area near here announced a shutdown a few days ago. Now what was that Inconvenient something or other movie that played recently? Oh well, it’ll come to me. Meanwhile, I just need to run down to the corner and fuel up the SUV.
Just a quick note to say Merry Christmas to everyone! KS and I are heading out early Saturday morning for Christmas with her mother. We may have time to drop in tomorrow, but we may not. We’ll be off line most of the next week, unless she has upgraded her computer. So, take care, everyone. Have a Happy Solstice, Hanuhak, Christmas, Pagan Winter Festival, or whatever applies.
I once had a 67 International flatbed that was geared so low I’d swear it would climb a tree if I had urged it to. It was the last vehicle with “great character” that I owned.
Hey there Kidspeak, Here`s a little card I made up for all the tribe, but since you`re leaving, I`m sending best wishes to you & yours. Now Please have a safe & very good time.
Clean tables and plenty to drink. Come on in.
Well it appears everybody has headed out, so I guess I’ll head to bed.
Night All.
Was it something that I said?

Hi there, ID. Yes, you must be right. Our weather is like that of September, and clear.
it’s nice here in philly. not too cold, not to windy, and dry.

The nearby ski areas have already lost an important part of their season.

Heh, I’ll have to see the movie one of these days. Mostly what I see are things appropriate to an 8 year old.
I understand completely. We once watched Shrek about 20 times in succession, complete with singalongs, with the oldest granddem, now 8 yo himself.

Have a great time, we’ll look after the place until you get back.
Good night, all!
Enjoy! We’ll be off Sun. to pick up my mom to spend Christmas Eve at my brother’s farmhouse with his family, our kids and 3 granddems.
My brother always has the coolest Christmas decorations in the yard.
Have fun!
Wow, I thought this was your car.

Like this?
Hanuhak?
You did leave out Kwanzaa.
Am I left here to sweep out the place?
I always seem to arrive for a final nitecap after everyone has left. You’d think tomorrow was an actual work day or something.

Very nice!
I especially like the light and the colors. A Down East sort of fantasy land.
Peace out there with the waves and warmth, Kn…
