Lovely pic this morning, Andi.
I was feeling rather dense so I thought the picture should match.
Did you fuss with the color at all or is that natural? It looks sort of like a faded old photo my grandma would have tucked in a drawer. Very nice.
I didn’t change the color but the reason it is that color is that it was a really distant (and small) piece cropped from a much larger image.

That’s this morning’s first order of business. Grammy is on her way with some things for him, and we have a very specific list of things we still need, so after she leaves, we’ll be off on our final mission.
I can’t believe we have less than 2 days before he leaves.
I still think my idea to SN when she went on a trip was a good one. Make up a box and mail it to him. That way you don’t have to worry about how much or what can go on a plane.
But there’s no post office in the desert…

Well, the idea of working overtime is because the company is busy. LOL I have been here for 44 minutes and only taken 4 calls which means it is really slow. LOL
They need to figure out some way you could work from home. Heck I might even consider going back to work if I could do that. 🙂
I would work a lot6 more if I could sit at home with the diva dogs. LOL
Yeah I always wished I had one of those job that I could do at home. But I’m not sure I have the will power to not take a nap during work. 🙂

Just regular. Even when it was out we still had a couple of channels still on, but I’m not into watching preachers on TV.

Nope. I think Sunday morning preachers are one of the reasons I started channel surfing so much.
LOL It is one of the reasons I have digital cable. I can skip the preachers and all sports programs and the mjority of the sports. LOL
We kept getting calls to switch to digital cable with so many months free to try it out, but I told them no. To expensive and then the hassel of having it switched back.
I have it so I can have some of the channels not available on regular cable. LOL I still mainly watch the cartoon channel. LOL
It’s gotten to where even my favorite channels are putting up reality shows. I’ll be glad when this phenomena ends.

Hey. Brother and nephew just showed up. Had to be up front for a little while.

It’s only 47 here — still very warm for January though. But it’s sunny.
I have to hang out for the Gas Company, who will only give a 4 hour window instead of a real appointment. So I’m putting away my Christmas stuff.
Sitting outside eating Mexican food sounds much better.

Having problems with you gas?
They installed one of those automatic readers about a year ago — it sends a signal to a satellite to tell them how much gas you’ve used (I’m sure it’s also an NSA plot). It stopped working. I noticed that my gas bill for the last two months was only $12 a month. The lady at the gas company laughed when I called and said I was probably the only person who’d called her that day to tell her their gas bill was too low. So they have to come reset it.
How very, er, honest of you. 🙂
They’d eventually figure it out and send me a HUGE bill. So I might as well get it straighened out early.

That’s a given since I only had one plaid skirt in my life and it was a kilt — cause it took a gimmick to get me to want to put on dresses and skirts (skorts and culottes worked too).

I’m the opposite at bowling. At first I’m pretty good and I think that maybe this time I won’t suck. Then I get worse and worse. I’ll have to give beer a try.

Part of the problem is that I need a light ball but I need bigger holes for my fingers. I should just buy myself a bowling ball. (please don’t tell anyone I just said that.)
I think that’s my problem as well. When you use a light ball they think you have kiddie size fingers, and, well, I don’t have kiddie sized anything. So I end up lofting the ball and it comes down with a thud and then rolls into the gutter. I just can’t let go at the right time.

It’s the worst possible thing for me because it draws attention to me – which of course I hate. But the shoes are cool!

My problem with bowling is that I start out being completely bored and go to the zombie state by the third frame.
There are two men walking down the middle of my suburban street wearing nearly identical argyle sweaters and tan dockers. We have sidewalks. They look like they belong to some sort of Richie Cunningham cult. I’m sure they’re up to no good.

One of the boys is going back to school tomorrow and I’ll miss him a bunch. 🙁
So I’m getting him to do all the stuff around the house that I’m too lazy to do before he goes. 🙂
One of my friends made her college student son put up all the christmas lights at Thanksgiving and now he has to take them down before he goes back to school. I told her he might start to regret coming home but she assures me that he loves her.
And he loves the free laundry appliances. Colin says it costs 25 cents for each 5 minutes of drying!
Gotta go. I’ve got a headache starting and I want to lay down before it gets worse.

Me too! 🙁 The darn kid only works 75 hours a week and I can’t get him to do me a painting in his spare time.
He and Jackie are most likely coming to visit me in February to check out the area. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll move here.
