Galloway is quite a character.
First got my attention when he testified in front of the Senate sub-committee back in May 2005. He tore Norm Coleman a new one – I still recall the goosebumps I got from watching. The video link from then is still there.
Funny you should mention Coleman, ask. After sharing the video with my fellow housemate, we were just comparing Galloway (and the yawning, departing reaction of the audience) to Paul Wellstone – and the empty rooms he spoke to with such ongoing fervor.
In spite of Galloway’s potentially questionable past (nope, sorry, no links – don’t know how) 🙂 I’m consistently drawn in by Galloway’s passionate pleas about what is taking place in these utterly corrupt administrations throughout the world…sigh…
