I grew up during the Cold War, when we were ALL in real danger. Unlike today, the Cold War was a daily reminder that life on Earth could literally end at any moment. The War On Terror is a chump bully fight compared to the Cold War.
During the Cold War me and my friends would sit around after the football game at Surry Central High School or while cruising the streets of Elkin, NC and wonder what life would be like after the bombs. After the light. After the fallout. After the dead pile up for thousands of miles all across the globe.
How do you even begin to prepare for life after that kind of catastrophe?
Our answer? You’ve got to drink all the beer NOW! There may not be time later!!!!
